U.S. Customs and Border Protection - Lynden Port of Entry

Good place, very polite & professional staff compare to rude staff at Blaine Peace Arch crossing.

Great border crossing. I've crossed here a few times. Never seems to be too busy. Went to go cross at Peace Arch yesterday and there was a 60 minute wait. 90 minutes at Pac Highway. Scooted over to Aldergrove and there was only one car ahead of us. Crossed in two minutes. Very convenient, especially if you are just going to Bellingham.

Don 1 dropped us off on Canadian side, we walked through US Customs and Border Patrol. Officers very nice. Son 2 picked us up and strove a to Seattle.

Cbp officers were very courteous and took time and clarified my questions. Amazing experience

The border officers are always nice, however, the building and traffic flow into the gate crossing itself are terrible. No Nexus is awful at baseline. Add to that the fact that the Canadians do not prevent people from cutting in on their part of the road, and others exploiting the duty free loop hole, and this makes for one extremely long wait. I went through on a busy Sunday afternoon. There was one regular lane open, at minimum two lanes should be open during a busy time. They need to open more lanes or do something. This feels like a third world country in terms of inefficiency and the poorly maintained building.

We are beyond grateful for the officers that helped us at this crossing. They were so lovely and tried really hard to sort out our issue for us. We had a very unique and complicated situation. My son and his father are American but I’m Australian. A special thanks to Officer Daves, Chon, John, Barrett and all the other guys working out of this crossing station. They all were awesome and very kind and we are now home safely in America! Thank you so much!

First time crossing into the US and had a great time at the crossing. Heather was polite and complimented our cars cleanliness after she searched it. She even recommended some good eateries in Bellingham. 10/10 would cross again

Very rude and condescending officer. There was so much construction and traffic cones everywhere, and since it was our first time ever crossing the border, we were following the GPS, and we mistakenly went down the commercial lane and we weren’t allowed to back up once we realized. We apologized to the officer and explained that it was our first time, but he was so rude about it saying “you guys always say sorry but you never pay attention. Stop looking at your phones and pay attention to the signs. Next time you come through my commercial lane, you’ll be sent back to Canada.” Could’ve educated us in a noncondensing way but nope, had to be an a-hole about it.

Hello! There was no line here and the officer who helped us was so nice, his name was Deegan. We were returning home from Vancouver.
