Frank Carpenter Memorial Campground

Our place in Midway... It is a nice quiet spot next to the river. Great walks in the area. Close to a grocery store. Easy parking with warm showers and decent ablutions. Only 15 amp power and no sewer hookup. Dumping about a block away next to the Rec centre. Recommended for affordable camping and the nice setting.

Great little campground right on the river, walking distance to supermarket, museum etc. Washrooms are kinda grungy but serviceable with everything you need. Bring CASH to pay. I hadnt realized what a cool little community Midway is! We will return to walk some of the trails. The KVR museum is an amazing museum for such a little place.

Really nice campsite by the Kettle River in Midway BC. Clean bathrooms with hot water and showers.

Small campground. Need lots of maintenance done. Overgrown grass and weeds. Bathrooms were not too clean. Steve is a great guy. Our site had electrical problems so we did not have electricity. Site 11. Great place for a night or two.

A very nice location on the river. Sites have grass but are smallish size. Some sites have power but only 15 amp. Lots of tent sites available.

Very nice and clean campsite by the river and close to the centre of town. Steve may be able to give you a ride if you want to tube the kettle river back to the campsite

Had to Camp along Riverside during the Rock Creek fires. It was very beautiful when the Smoke cleared to wake up and be right in front of that gorgeous River. It is great for rockhounding or to just chill out and breathe in the gorgeous view or floating down from Mills Beach not too far up River on a floating with her it's a one man blow up boat or a blow-up mattress or a inner tube it's a great experience to be up close and personal with the river it's a great float it's a great River it's a great Campground it's a place where you can get back and chill out and enjoy some much-needed R&R or you can take a nice leisurely walk alongside the river an experience the wild life and beauty that Mother Nature has given us to enjoy. And I can't forget to add that it has showers so you can have a nice warm shower before bed. I should also mention that it attracts repeat campers year after year which I have have been lucky enough to get to know when German couple that I've seen and had a great time with for three years in a row . **It is always a pleasure to see friendly faces in wonderful places year after year** :)

Nice quiet place along the river in Midway, British Columbia. It has 15 amp and water hookups. There is a Sani dump is close by which has $5 charge, they in process of repairing it while we were there. Washrooms and showers are clean. The area has hiking, tubing down the river and a 9 hole golf course close by.
