The Driveway Doctor

The Driveway Doctor has been providing me with snow removal service for several years. I am amazed at some of the reviews being left her because they have always been excellent to deal with. They often show up within a few hours of the end of a snow storm which is very fast. My previous contractor would sometimes take 15 or even 24 hours before showing up. The owner is very communicative and keeps me well informed of what is going on and what to expect. The trick to being happy with any snow removal contractor is to have realistic expectations. I do not feel I should be plowed before anyone else. I do know that there is always a route order all companies follow to be the most productive. My friend use to have a snow removal company in Scarborough and he told me the biggest problem with servicing residential homes is everyone things they are more important than everyone else. Ultimately he stopped servicing residential homes and switched to only commercial parking lots. I hope The Driveway Doctor never does this because they will have me as a life long client. Their service, professionalism and customer service is the best I have ever seen. Keep up the great work guys!

I have used their snow services for three seasons without issue and then this season hit. They send long winded pointless emails rudely telling clients not to bother them and won't even pick up the phone to speak to a concerned customer. Perhaps the 15 plus reviews on Google that are terrible should tell you exactly what you need to know...they aren't a coincidence. Tonight's storm was the last straw for me. After horrible service throughout this winter including not clearing or salting, having an excuse for everything from tardiness to amount of snow and ice not qualifying they wake up and actually use the money they collect to pay workers to pick up a shovel, it's become apparent to me that this guy thinks its all a joke. it is 12:20 am, I work 12 hour days and I just spent over an hour shoveling all of the snow that this company didn't remove tonight. Mounds of snow left on the driveway so my family can't get the car out in the morning to go to school, the sidewalks were not done, both entrances were not shoveled and no salt (even though I will be charged for salt service - this has now happened at least three times this season). I regret ever crossing paths with these people and plan to cancel my service immediately and take further action if they try and uphold their shoddy contract. I have to wake up in 5 hours to go work an honest day, while the owner can't even take my call because he knows exactly how the conversation is going to go. What an absolute joke of a company.

Had this Company come to remove an oil stain.Only ended up making it worse than before.Sent owner pictures, said they would return to make it right. Never did.Do not use this company. They do not stand by their work.

I contacted The Driveway Doctor through their website for a quote. They replied immediately and scheduled an appointment. They arrived on time and everything was great. The gentleman was polite. Explained the service and did exactly as described. Prepped and cleaned the driveway. Cleaned the oil stains and hand applied the sealer. My driveway looks like brand new again. I would not hesitate to recommend The Driveway Doctor in the future. Cheers Jim

Second time user of the good Doctor. Last time used was 4 years ago. Held up great even though the driveway was somewhat abused with dirt and gravel last summer. Driveway is 20 years old and looks like new once it’s sealed. Response was great and followup on a minor miss was immediate. Very satisfied with the outcome.

Hired Halton Snow Removal (owned and operated by the Driveway Doctor) for snow removal service in December, 2016. Paid extra for snow removal by snow blower to protect my newly installed driveway. Despite the contract, the company used a plow causing over $8,000 damage. I cancelled the service immediately. The owner was unprofessional and rude, suggesting that I have no right to cancel because of the 60 day contract notice in the terms. He had no consideration for the damage, and tried to intimidate me with his wife's connection to a law firm. He breached the contract, caused damage and left us with the cleanup. 0" stars. I feel that we need to make people aware of dishonesty as well as bad business practices of John Marsh and The Driveway Doctor, Oakville.In a review called Buyer Beware"

WOW ! Thank you . I am extremely happy with the outcome . People walking by were comenting how beautiful it looked and what a great job. The person applying the sealer did a fantastic job as you can certainly tell from the BEFORE and AFTER pictures . I am happy to have chosen the RIGHT company . Definitely recommend the DOCTOR :) Thanks again

BUYER BEWARE! I am not a person to complain and honestly had used the Dr Doctor for 10 years on my asphalt driveway without issue. However, I recently moved and had them come to seal interlock. It was a complete mess from the first day. You’ll notice white residue and blotches. This was brand new interlock and John Marsh said he’d come back to fix. That was May 7!Despite multiple calls and emails he is quoted as saying “take me to small claims court but there is no warranty”. Funny how they take your money up front, mess the job and won’t fix it. YES he will tell you’ll he will come back ....but that’s just to get you off his back. Sealing interlock is seasonal and my work was May 5 and 6. I paid over $1200 and today, Sept 9, he still says he can’t fix it.Check out the Better Business Bureau as I posted a full disclaimer. The Consumer Protection Agency run by ministry suggests legal action which they guide you to legal services for. In the end it is too much to chase this company. But search carefully if you have interlock....they don’t know what they are doing and they are not honest. This from a 10 year client.I know John will respond to this as if I was the problem....if so...I will continue to post his inflammatory email responses which I have saved. I am a reasonable client....he is rude and doesn’t honour his work.

It is with regret I leave this review. I've never had issues in the past but I sense the business is too busy to pay attention to detail like it once did. They got seal on the concrete and some interlock when sealing my driveway Nobody came back to clean it after repeated requests to do so. The lawn sign was left behind too. Unlike what the reply said, it is the same company as I called the number listed on their website. The fact they they won't even apologize and try to make this better makes me even more disappointed.Very unfortunate.
