National Transmission

The TurboHydro 400 in my van went out and after reading the good reviews on Google, I decided to take it to National and I am glad I did. Daryl and Glenda took good care of me and went through the transmission and even some other systems, all in the interest of helping me to get a better vehicle.Because of the good experience, I also had them service the differential on an older vehicle of mine last week. I was initially quoted a price based on the work I wanted done of about $200, but after I had it towed in they came back with a price that was 4.5 times higher than the original - in around $900. I reluctantly agreed to pay it because I wanted it done and had paid cash to tow the car in (and home too obviously so I had cost involved), but have had several automotive people tell me that I was taken for a good ride on the cost of this one with 6 plus hours of labor to change a pinion seal and a couple of axel seals. Bottom line get anything in writing and get a second opinion. I probably would not have brought the car in had I known the price would be that high and shopped around for other options. No complaints about the quality of the work though, at least at this point.

Couldn’t have asked for better service. Was driving from Vancouver to Toronto and had my alternator break just outside of town. The next morning I called 20 minutes before their 8am open and was told to come right in. They diagnosed the problem, picked up the part somewhere else in town and had be back on the road by 930am. These guys are the exact reason you should always support good local people! Plus they have the friendliest pup around.

Les and karen here called first thing Monday am explaining how we were camping and my Dodge Ram had a transmission acting up and could they look at it that day. Glenda said they would squeeze us in We arrived and the owners are there and they run the place. They were extremely nice and helpful. They got the truck in and diagnosed and back on the road by noon. The mechanics are very efficient and professional. They explained what had to be done. They had the opportunity to gouge some out of town stuck travellers and didn’t. We appreciated how genuine they were We’d like to have a shop like this in Saskatoon. We generally don’t leave reviews but we were quite impressed The “guard dog “ is a good distraction while waiting

Can't say enough good things about this company. Darryl and Glenda are amazing and I would recommend anyone who needs transmission work to go see these wonderful people. They truly care about their customers and stand behind the work they do. All around great customer service!

Brought my old van to Darryl. He and his team rebuilt it and price he quoted was price at the end. They went over and above my expectations. Very friendly atmosphere and I will bring any of my vehicles to them. Thank you Darryl. Since this job, Darryl has serviced my suburban and just today he serviced my wife's Honda. In between he also test drove my volvo and I cannot say enough good thing's about this business. Great service, absolutely honest and very fair prices. Thanks guys

Only place to go for your transmision needs, best knowledge in the industry. Very honest and freindly, go above and beyond. If you do ever by the off chance have a warranty issue, rest easy knowing you will be well taken care of...i personally wouldnt go anywhere else for transmision work. Thanks to national transmision for the great work, sadly thats sometimes hard to find these days.

Quick & great price for transmission flush

We were so lucky to come across this shop. On our way through town on a road trip, our transmission gave out and the people from National Transmission went above and beyond. They went the extra mile to look for the part we needed (personally went to pick it up), and advocated for us to be able to get back on the road in good timing. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a reliable and hard working team that you can fully trust.
