Umbrella Waterproofing, Drain and Plumbing

Getting our basement waterproofed by the guys from Umbrella waterproofing had alleviated so much stress and now after the work withstood the test of rain and time I am even gladder to have gone with them. I am just kicking myself for not waterproofing it earlier – that surely could have saved me time and nerves. My advice for anyone who experiences waterproofing issues, leaky basement or cracked foundation not to wait hoping it resolves itself: just get an honest waterproofing contractor like I did.

When Vlad came to clear our drain (recommended by our landlord) I asked him to fix the constantly leaking toilet tank. He checked it and said the problem was the fill valve, and that it would be 250$ to replace it. I asked him to check the flapper, as I suspected it was faulty. He said he did and seemed A-OK. So, I paid for the valve replacement.Two hours later, the tank was leaking again. I called Bohdana, the office manager. She promised to get back to me, eventually gave us another appointment for 2 days later. Unfortunately I had to leave abroad by then, only my wife was home. Vladimir (not the same guy) came over, opened the tank, said: Your flapper is off the peg"

I have used this company 2 times now and regret nothing. They answer all you questions with full explanations. They give you their opinions and when the work is done you can see how efficient they are. Very reliable and I have no issues recommending Vlad and his crew.

Thank you for fixing our leaky basement. Your team was very courteous and pleasant to deal with. The initial diagnostic with Vlad was what sprung us to hire Umbrella. It was detailed and informative, and all the answers to my questions were logically and patiently explained. Thank you for taking extra time and care. After having the waterproofing done on the outside (which seemed impossible in winter conditions at least to us) and getting pesky mold removed on the inside the air quality seems to have improved dramatically. A few shrubs that were on the way and had to be dug up were carefully put back which was a sure sign their workers cared. They arrived promptly every morning and worked hard till it got dark outside. I am very happy with the service provided on my main sewer drain several months ago. I’ve used Umbrella for multiple projects, and this time I had a blocked sewer line. Vlad used the camera to inspect it & then a snake to unblock it, but I had to get the line repaired because the roots infiltrated it in multiple spots. The cost for the repairs was very reasonable. The quote provided was detailed explaining step by step process. Everything was executed to a T. I had to get the permission from my neigbour to use his driveway for this job. Vlad came back on a separate request from my neigbour to discuss the work and how his driveway will be left afterwards. The job site was left in a pristine condition after the jobs completion. I’m a repeat customer and would highly recommend Vlad, Slava and the rest of the team to my friends & family.
