great tailoring, lovely guy! I’ll definitely be back next time I need something altered.

Henry made me a fantastic suit for my wedding. The quality of its construction is far superior to the reasonable price he charged. It's a full canvased wool suit using suiting from a very reputable Italian mill. The fit and hand detailing puts it right on par with something I would expect to see from a Savile Row tailor at less than half the price. He's also done some excellent alterations for me on other garments and always has the work completed in a timely manner. I would need a pretty compelling reason to try out another tailor in Calgary.

I will never take my suits and tailoring needs anywhere but Henry’s. He does excellent work. Very friendly. Prices are fair. Even done some rush work for me where I needed it next day and was more than willing to help me out. I highly reccomend Henry’s to anyone who needs alterations, especially Suit alterations.

I bought a pair of custom made pants. After being measured and returning several times for adjustments, what I ended up with is a pair of pants that didn't fit. It was very disappointing.

My wife and I have had many items altered here and Henry's work has always been skillful, timely, and professional.

Henry is a very nice, personal, funny guy. Very happy with my alteration, he did a great job! Very good turn around time and price too!

2/5 for the tailoring, 5/5 for the customer service. I am a bit hesitant to return because of the craftsmanship and lack of attention to detail.Starting with the 2/5 tailoring job: I decided to give the place a try after seeing all of the high reviews. I brought two designer sweatshirts ($350 each) to get the sleeves shortened. The tailor did a great job measuring and ensuring the pieces were altered to the correct length. However, on one of the pieces, the seams on the cuffs were not aligned with the seams of the sleeves. I was really disappointed with this as the tailor did not seem to pay any attention to the finer details. Having the seams aligned is an absolute basic skill and failing to have them aligned seems like sloppy craftsmanship. Because of this, I am honestly hesitant to return and bring other pieces. After pointing this out, the mistake was corrected within 3-4 hours on the same day for free.In terms of actual customer service, the tailor was friendly, very professional, helpful, and personable. I really appreciated how he corrected the mistake immediately on the same day. 5/5 for the customer service.Overall, the service as a whole was nothing more than fair. I was extremely disappointed with the craftsmanship and lack of attention to detail with the seams. As simple as it is for a professional to shorten the sleeves of a sweatshirt, it is sad to not see very much attention to detail put into the job.

I needed to hem pants for a wedding at short notice and Henry's tailoring really helped me out. Great work, wonderful customer sevices, and fair prices. I will definitely come back for any alterations that I may need in the future.
