Their lamb souvlaki was great!!! So delicious! Good service and sever is so friendly. They have a lot of types of beer on the tap and cans. You can find your favorite flavor. And they have a nice patio, I love it! I'd like to go there again for sure.

Zawa is a great spot for casual eats and drinks. The restaurant is big and cozy ,good vibe and great service. Food came out quickly , I had a burger with fries which were really great . They have a good selection of beer on tap. Overall it’s a fun place to check out with friends.

Have been twice so far and am pleaslenty surprised on how good the food is. Seems this place had a firesale with the previous employees cause their is only 1 server but she's a real sweetheart, had a great st Patty's day there even if it was brief. (Recommend this place) only issue I would have is the owner peaking and sneaking around corners to see how you were enjoying the stay.

I come here all the time because:1. The Chef’s salad is damn good, it keeps me coming back. It’s simple and it’s solid and I feel good after I eat it!2. It’s lowkey here, it’s quiet, I always get my favourite table, and I can hang out and be in peace!Good service, and a damn great salad.

We came from out of town and decided to try brunch here. The restaurant was quite filthy (dust on hanging lights and lots of food residue on the walls). A man was hanging an large art piece while we were eating. The breakfast was not great. The hashbrowns and sausages were inedible. The service was so so. Would not eat here again and there are many better brunch places. The immediate tip option was 25% which I thought was incredibly steep.

Stumbled in after a punk show and the kitchen was closed but they fed us anyway and it was delishhhhh. The server was very sweet even though it was late!

My expectations of Zawa being a small mom and pop shop were completely off base, however my experience was quite pleasant. The outside patio is very cute, and the inside is much more pub feel than restaurant. They are equipped with a full bar and a large dinner menu, including plant based options which I would not have expected from first glance. The vegan burger I tried was decent; I loved the patty, which was much more like a giant falafel than a burger. The service was also very friendly and accommodating!

Went to the restaurant for a drag brunch, the performance was wonderful, but the service was absolutely atrocious as we didn’t receive any. It took 2 hours for food, over an hour for our FIRST drinks (no water offered at any point) and we received nothing but rudeness throughout the entire experience. there was never a quality check on any items and foods and drinks came at all different times despite orders being put in at the same time. we have no idea who our server was let alone the name, but as a suggestion, training staff the values of hospitality could be useful going forward. The only service received was from flagging down staff who for the most part avoided our table altogether. and come payment it took wellover 10 minutes to sort out bills. i can applaud the openness and willingness to offer such an inclusive environment for such wonderful queens to perform in, but as far as the guest experience went we felt entirely unwelcome.

Awesome place to go on a hot sunny day to sit and people watch on the patio... Great staff, awesome food & one of my favorites is the Greek salad yum!!* Update ..this is a trio platter? And poutine yum!!!
