CJ's Express Plumbing & Electrical Ltd

We had an emergency one night after work. I went into my basement to discover the house had been backing up all day at the floor drain. I called the emergency line and the plumber was very quick to respond and came out right away. She got the blockage cleared up and was very helpful in providing ways to prevent this from happening in the future. We have also used them to fix a plumbing issue from when another plumbing company did a rough in for us years ago. We are very pleased with the fix and highly recommend Cj's. They are now our go to plumbing company!

Only needed a valve replaced. Charged 2 1/2 hours labour when 1 1/2 hours waa used for the technician to drive across town on a Friday to get a part and then afterwards sit in his vehicle to wait to hear back from company what he should be charging. The price was outrageous - go somewhere else if you need work. We will never use this company again and we will share our experience with everyone

I'm not sure I would hire CJ's express to work on any project. The company is so entitled, they take up 3 prime parking spots at the local Canadian Tire Store. This isn't the way someone considerate behaves.

We had a plumbing emergency in September, We phoned multiple plumbers, CJ was the only plumber to return a Call that day. They came to my home and assessed the issues and quoted accordingly. They scheduled the repair as soon as available, The showed up on time and did a fantastic job. months later I neederd a copy of the invoice and the office was able to get my invoice e-mailed in seconds. when dealing with home plumbing having a company show up and fix the issues is paramount. would reccomend.

Dealing with CJs Express Plumbing was a painful experience. My insurance company asked me to get in contact with them to get a quote on replacing an old cast iron pipe from our basement. I contacted them in early September to assess the damage and they sent someone out, charged me $50 and failed to provide a quote. Then they dispatched a separate plumber a few weeks later who reassessed the work and promised a quote. One month and multiple phone calls and texts later and I still have no quote in my hand. Insurance has asked me to move on and get another company to provide an assessment.

Dealt with them years ago on my first bathroom renovation. After the job was done I used the toilet only to almost fall through the floor. I asked CJ Plumbing to come repair it and they refused saying the floor was uneven not their problem.I called Mr. Plumber to repair it and they did. They said my toilet had only two out of the eight screws fastened to the floor. Mr. plumber rebuilt the floor under the toilet leveling it and fastened all eight screws and I was pleased with the cost. My Hero. Great customer service and polite.CJ Express Plumber did not seal the holes around the pipes to the claw foot tub, they charged me $500 to take the tub out the house even when I did the demolition work. They bent house siding at door and did not offer to repair or pay.They did shim level the vanity, but it was not attractive and charged me more then agreed upon. I choose them because I wanted to help a guy whose daughter was friends with my daughter.Worst experience ever. Single mom and First house experience not good. He took advantage.

Customer beware. BP Plumbing was sold to cjs express plumbing and electrical. We did have a great experience with BP plumbing not so much with cjs express. I would NOT recommend cjs express plumbing and electrical to anyone. They are very unprofessional. I have to hire another plumber to fix the poor quality work done by cjs express plumbing and electrical. The owner Nelson was very rude when I called to find a solution to the poor quality work done by their employee. No integrity with this company.

I hate leaving negative review but I feel like I need to share my experience dealing with CJ's Express. We had them come in to install some new plumbing lines for a multiple bathroom renovation. Ed did not show up to our first consultation and was 30 mins late to our second one. I could only seem to get a hold of Ed, when I would send emails to the office since I would not hear from him directly.Once the work started we realized that they refused to install any fixtures that was not their own. I do not blame them for this as I should have been clear with them when they came out originally. However when they were there one of the guys wen through the drywall and Ed refused to work with me at all on this. The subfloor was removed just where they were working and he proceeded to blame us for not having sheets for them to stand on. There was 2ft strip removed in the entire bathroom (because they needed to work in the area). The plumber who came out were polite and easy to talk to but we ended up having to replace most of the work they did when we brought tin another company.All in all this was a bad experience and would not recommend them. I can not speak to their repair services but avoid using this company for any renovation work.

I am a duplex owner and have a leak from the upstairs bathroom to my lower unit. I was referred by a large building owner colleague to use this company. Luis was the plumber and showed up at 930 rather than 12. He proceeded to do very little and charged us 171.00. He asked my husband verbatim Do you want me to open the ceiling". No explanation nor did not state as the "supposed" professional that this very well had to be done to fix the leak. He literally worked for 30 minutes and somehow we were charged one hour 85.00 and in addition a 35.00 field supplies fee... plus costs for a overflow cover and other things I am unable to read on the invoice total 171.76 I called and was curtly told by Liz you will be required to pay that 85 and 35 again just to come back and do exactly what should have been done in the first place. I requested to please have the owner call me. He then emailed me approximately 8 hours later. The owner's name is Nelson and is condescending and highly unprofessional. He said one thing to my husband and a completely different story to me. We expected to pay for extra service/labour/materials of course to completly rectify the situation but not the same 85 and 35 again for not doing the proper job in the first place. Needless to say do not hire this company. They are not professional nor do they stand behind their work. Nothing is fixed and I have to look elsewhere to have the work completed."
