You call in prescriptions a week in advance and they forget" to fill them. Then they fill the wrong amount and short change you but still charge you for the full prescription. The cashier is rude and had no clue what's going on."

Going to Ford's is like going to visit old friends. When I show up everyone there recognizes me, acknowledges me by name and are happy to see me! It is a great feeling!

If you need information or need prescriptions, the service is great. I have one of my supplements made into a capsule. We do not live in Moncton and orders are often mailed to us if we cannot get in to pick up.

This pharmacy told me they would fill my prescription and to have it transferred from my current pharmacy. I needed to do this because there was supply shortages of my medication. I explained to the pharmacy that I was running out and I was worried about their ability to fill it, they assured me not to worry and they would fill my prescription. Every few days I would call up and they still wouldn’t have my prescription transferred. When they finally transferred my prescription, they informed me I would need a new one from my doctor, as there was a difference between the one, they offered because they made it in store (hormone therapy). They told me they would handle it and not to worry. I am sure you can guess where this is going. Every time I called them, they said they faxed my doctor’s office, were waiting for a response and not to worry, they had it handled. Finally, I called my doctors office to find out what was going on. When I called my doctors office, they informed me that the pharmacy had never contacted them. So, they asked me for the contact information and called the pharmacy their selves and wrote the new prescription right away. I thought phewf, this is finally over with because even though I only had two days left on my prescription the pharmacy assured me they would have my refill ready. On refill day I called, and they did not have my prescription ready and said I would have to wait a few days. I was understandably frustrated and raised my voice, though I didn't swear, name-call, or become abusive. This turned out to be my fatal flaw as the pharmacy then refused to fulfill my prescription. When you call this pharmacy, they tell you to never go cold-turkey on hormone medication, but they happily put me in this exact spot. I do not recommend fulfilling your prescription here.

Went to a very informative Metabolic Detoxification seminar hosted by Fords Family Pharmacy and Wellness Center last Monday. Based on the great turn out, there must be a lot of people like me out there interested in this topic. I was particularly surprised by the number of men in attendance.What a great opportunity to learn more about own health risk factors in a casual, nonthreatening environment. And the gluten free pumpkin muffins were delicious!

I was advied to take my medication from ford's because my pharmacy doesn't make it anymore. The medication was sold to me 3 times with more than a double of the normal price (62$ Vs 27$)!! . I explained to them that the price is too high but they told me to call my insurance (nothing to do because they refund bsed on the regular price). So I checked with another pharmacy and I was able to take with the normal price again.

I have had a few people tell me that a more natural approach is the way to go so I decided to give it a try. It is very interesting what I find out about my body. If this is something you are interested in I recommend it.
