Off-leash Park

Love it here …usually anyway, we are from out of town and love to come here, however we have a very tiny dog who is sometimes afraid of other dogs, when she gets afraid we pick her up, so a couple of pit bulls ran up to us she was so terrified, so we picked her up but the owner allowed his pit bulls to jump all over us and up on our dog, we said to his dogs to stay down .. because he wasn’t, so he yelled at us maybe you shouldn’t come here if you I don’t like other people dogs off leash!I didn’t know off leash meant your pit bulls would be jumping on us and my dog while the “owner” ignored them. I guess that’s ok to him.Off leash means to let them run yes, but never is a dog to be allowed to harass or jump up on others who have asked the person to control their dog especially a pit bull. I guess maybe this owner needed to be on a leash.. he was to a point of getting so aggressive we had to run away ..

Not a dog owner bit it's a beautiful walk from the tin star Bridge where I got the aurora picture from. I walk to the jack Tennant Bridge and back.

Beautiful trail along the river. Never too busy or overcrowded. Great place for the dog to run. It is a long open trail and partially treed so good recall is important.

I have experienced multiple negative incidents involving cyclists in this area. They do not slow down for anyone or anything. One kicked my dog in the face when he was approaching at top speed (my dog did not pose a threat) another hit my blind dog and was forcibly stopped by a crowd. Go to the other park. The Town does nothing about this issue.

Beautiful walking path by the river with many benches to sit, rest and enjoy the view.

My dog and I absolutely love this place! Beautiful and the bow river runs along it, don't bring your dog if they don't listen as it's only partially fenced.

This park at Cochrane was beautiful for a good walk. It was my first time in Cochrane and it a beautiful community.

I've been going g here for years since it backs into the bow. Plus it's fenced. Though now there's parts that are not. After the bridge is open...that part isn't fenced as well. My dogs went up the highway...thank goodness nothing g happened. There was a cayote too further up. Good thi g I got my dogs close to me. It was a small one and it seems inexperienced. No harm no faul. Over all its awesome place to go!
