BAD Customer service for BIKES!April-11-2023 7:45 pm. I walked into this store to buy a bike. 1-There was nobody in the department to get the bike down and guide me or assist me with so my friend got it down for me. 2nd. I went on to ride it and one staff pricing clothes told me not to ride it because the technician was not in, so I stopped. Then I asked her if anyone else can help? She didn’t answer but call someone else another lady who did not ask: How can I help? Or how can I assist you with? She came to imposed for me to have a helmet in order to ride the bike! She said to buy one or bring my own, but the tone and demeanour she used I felt that I was being forced to buy a helmet 1st. In order for me to continue with the testing. So I understood and got off the bike, by the way the 2nd. Lady that told me to wear a helmet I find out was the Store Manager! Because I spoke to her before leaving the store.This treatment is what you can expect when you go buy a bike in this store, I don’t recommend it. I REPEAT I DON’T Recommend it. I walked away from there with a sour taste in my mouth, because of the treatment I received. Bring your own helmet or buy it on the spot for you to test the bike and the technician NEEDS to be in the store (or be on shift) for you to ride it.Sophia is the manager which only listens and doesn’t offer any solutions or apologies. And the apology she gave me was because I asked for it! Not because sincerely she sees the problem or care about it, nor consider the feelings or the needs of the customers. Specially when am buying a bike for the 1st. Time! I should mentioned that I went to Decathlon 1st. In the same mall (Bramalea City Center) and their customer service is supreme (Peter an expert rider who has tour 45 countries around the world on his bike is who will guide you when buying a bike) helped me and I decided to give Sports Check a chance to wow me and guide me to purchase my 1st. Bike and has miserably failed and greatly disappointed me! Maria needs more training to handle his replies, schedule more staff that’s available and eager to help, specially evenings when people get off work and has time to go buy a bike. Sophia as a staff needs to communicate better with more tactful and professional tone instead of treating people like we’re 5 yrs. Old playing to buy a bike.I am writing this review so people can see what you can expect if you decide to buy a bike at this store.The 2 staff mentioned in this review have more attitude than the skills needed to truly care and help customers. The store doesn’t even deserve 1 star but, that’s the only way to leave a review. I Bought my Bike after walking away from Sports Check . I purchased my bike at Decathlon because of the Excellent customer service by Peter, Sam and JJ.

I always enjoy coming to this location because the staff is super friendly and always very helpful. They have so much stuff to do with sporting related gear. You name it, they have it! Recently, I came in to have my skates sharpened and my toddler needed to use the washroom.When I took her in the washroom, it was absolutely filthy. As someone who has cleaned washrooms in the past, I could tell that this washroom had not been cleaned in days if not weeks. Both the toilet paper dispenser and the paper towel dispenser or broken as well. The ironic part was the printed sign on the back of the door before you leave. Reminding the staff of all of the points that need to be cleaned. None of these things were done and there was the most foul odour as well.

I needed a bike tune up. I was referred to Sportchek in the mall. They have a bike repair shop in back of store. A gentleman named Johnathan helped me out. He was friendly and very knowledgeable. When bike was ready; I was impressed with the tune up. Johnathan did an excellent job. I recommend him for all your biking needs.

The Manager Jamal gave me an amazing deal and the gentleman Malachi and the young lady Noami assisted me in selecting the right shoe for me. They were very polite and patient. Just one suggestion, you guys require to hire some staff.

They have a good collection. Shopped there twice. I got a good Boxing Day deal today.

The cashier Neetu had such a bad attitude. Kept rolling her eyes and kissing her teeth and the customers. When I left the store the customer behind me asked me if I noticed her attitude. If you don’t wanna be there then quit. No reason to give attitude.

I was notified via email that my mountain bike had been assembled by a technician and was ready to be picked up from the store. Upon arriving at the store the staff located my bike and I was all ready to go. I began to inspect the bike and first noticed the handle bars were off centre and extremely loose. The next thing I noticed was that the brakes were not even connected. The irony in all of this is that there was a paper attached to the bike that looked like a quality control check which appeared as though the bike had passed! Ridiculous! Since there was no technician available I was told I’ll need to wait a few more days before the bike can be repaired. I sure hope the same technician doesn’t lay a finger on this bike. If I could give this store 0 stars with this app I would.

My husband and I were in Sport Chek Bramalea city centre Brampton Ontario this morning 31st March and fortunate enough to be attended to by a sales associate Devon. Being senior citizens with particular needs we were impressed with his patience and understanding in directing us to the proper footwear for our needs. We are happy to recommend this store .

The worst technician I’ve ever had was in this place. I’d recommend not to go spork check if you have E-bike especially brake problems. Zero experience, the supervisor has no respect to his clients. Do not go and waste your time. Unbelievable
