Au Vieux Moulin

This is a beautiful setting for a wedding. I've worked here many times and the staff is very kind and accommodating. They even gave me some nice suggestions for locations for the wedding pictures - little corners of the property that I might not have discovered on my own. Rain or shine, this is a great wedding venue not far from Montreal.

We can't say enough positive things about this venue.First off, their property and grounds are immaculate. Wife and I did our wedding here in October 2018 and the entire experience was fantastic.The owners and their staff are accommodating and easy to work with, and their list of preferred vendors made planning pretty laid back and easy. When compared to traditional wedding halls, the price of AVM is very comparable and in some instances cheaper. Their caterer (Presto Gourmet) makes an amazing Italian menu , their decor vendor (Folies Gourmandes) took care of all the decor, flowers, and dessert table for a really inexpensive rate, and their preferred musicians did a fantastic job for the ceremony and cocktail hour.Highly recommend!

Beautiful place for a wedding. We absolutely loved. The perfect place to tailor your wedding. You rent the enter place and hire your own professional cater. Most places don’t offer this flexibility + you can buy your own alcohol which is a huge plus if you want to do an open bar, more affordable. The owners are very sweet and attentive to your concerns and possible needs. Couldn’t be happier 10/10

Beautiful venue for weddings! The upstairs could use more airconditioning but the wedding was on the hottest day of the summer (30 degrees +), black tie event, and with 75 people so I don't blame the aircon for not keeping up.The owner is a very nice and very thoughtful guy. He has done a marvelous job at maintaining the grounds and the beauty of the old mill. Would highly recommend for outdoor weddings.

This is a great venue to hold an intimate wedding at! As a Wedding DJ in Montreal, we have been everywhere. Doug and Caroline have a great venue and grounds. It is perfect for your outdoor ceremony and cocktails, and an intimate dinner inside later. It's always a pleasure when we work at Au Vieux Moulin!

My husband and I had our wedding here in August 2019. I don't have enough amazing things to say about this venue. Caroline and Doug did such an amazing job. The venue is gorgeous and level of service that Caroline provided was out of this world. We had the Miller's Love package which included catering by Mackoli Catering (some of the best food I've had!). Caroline thought of everything from priority parking for reduced mobility guests to special cocktails served immediately following the ceremony. She ensured that our wedding day went off without a hitch. The vendors she works with and recommends are excellent and affordable. Our expectations were exceeded every step of the way!

This place has all the right stuff for a wedding the atmosphere is incredible for ceremony, cocktails and reception. you will love the view.

While this place is beautiful, one of the owners is very unpleasant to say the least.My fiance and I came to visit Montreal over the long weekend, and since we drive from Toronto, we were hoping to have a look at numerous venues for our wedding. While I had emailed requesting a site visit, I was told that tours are not available yet and that we would have to book one at the end of April. With our busy schedules, it isn't easy to plan a 6 hour drive for a short weekend. So, we thought we would just drive (about a 45 minute drive) to take a quick peek at the grounds. My mother-in-law to be accompanied us, and when the owner saw us, we were greeted with an obnoxious attitude and she pretty much told us to get off her property. Don't get me wrong, I understand that tours are not available, but we were not roaming around the grounds. I don't think it is EVER appropriate to talk to a potential client this way. There are much more polite ways of dealing with a situation like this.I assume these people get a lot of business, because they sure as hell don't care about having ours! Her attitude this day is a clear depiction of how clients will be treated if things don't go her way. I still feel this venue is gorgeous, but just beware of who you're dealing with.

Beautiful place for an event! Great service

I had my wedding at Au Vieux Moulin and would do it all over again! The venue owners and their team were professional, easy-going, experienced, and so nice! The wedding went smoothly and the grounds and building were so well kept! Thank you Caroline and Doug for letting us enjoy your little Oasis!
