Independent Respiratory Services (IRS)

Very nice people. They sold me a replacement power adapter for my CPAP machine on the same day I called. Pricing for new CPAP units is expensive (like all CPAP places in Kamloops). If you have insurance, or you just need lower cost maintenance supplies, I'd say they are a nice bunch to go to and will buy from them again. If you don't have insurance and need a new unit you can either buy from them (their in town pricing is comparable to other places), or go to Vancouver or order online/from the USA.

I went to see this place after my sleep clinic trial in Kelowna. I was greeted pleasantly by the receptionist who answered all my questions. I met the therapist who took care of all of my equipment needs. They followed up with me regularly to make sure I was taken care of. I would recommend this place to anyone in a heartbeat. I've been going to IRS Kamloops for 3 years now and have always had the most professional, friendliest service from both therapists as well as Anita (receptionist). I would recommend this office to anyone!

Arrived for my first appointment and no one there, and the doors were locked. Second appointment booked and test return to clinic 34 days ago. I have since tried to call the Kamloops branch several times and calls never answered. Have left several messages with admins, who are great, but I have never receive a call back, despite several promises that someone would call. I was told that my results would be in within 2 weeks. Trying to purchase a replacement system and not impressed at all. Informed today that my test was sent to be analyzed just yesterday. Asked to speak to the Manager earlier today but still waiting on return call. If this is the type of service" that is provided when I am trying to purchase a unit for several thousand dollars it makes me very concerned about the service that will be provided post purchase if needed. Would not recommend based on my experience."
