The owner is grimy.It's a whole story that I won't relay on here.I am not one who likes to defame businesses, in fact, I leave far more positive reviews than negative. However, this guy is just unprofessional. If you can, avoid him. If not, be very clear about the services he is providing and how much you want to pay.Godspeed!

5 Stars. Excellent service and repair. This is a local gem. The owner called and discussed the repair. Exceptional.The repair was done in less than a week and done on the day they said with excellence.I am thrilled they could repair my favorite black loafers. These were a pair of Bay Clark shoes that split on one side. Deceptively, they were leather but paper thin leather, and the seam was in the wrong place according to this expert shoe repair shop, causing one of them to split. It's only a matter of time before the second split. They repaired both with excellent stitching and used quality leather. And the price was exceptional. Just $34.95 for both shoes. See photos.I honestly hesitated taking them in and thought it's an impossible repair and would be costly. I was wrong!No, don't hesitate. Take your leather shoes here or a coat etc. . They will have them repaired with excellence.Definetly 5 stars. They also sell a variety of leather goods. Bloodstone boots that are the Film industry favorites for the crew on set and leather belts and so much more. Centrally located right across the street from the Guildford Red Robin restaurant and Guildford Mall. In the strip mall on 152 nd Street. Thank you for your excellence.

Upsells for no reason! I didn't need my shoes cleaned. Guy said he can't have a shoe leaving there dirty." He also painted the tip of my heel black as it also "couldn't leave without looking like this." I got charged for this! Job was okay

After 3 visits to this location (and Maple ridge) i am finally writing up a 4 star review, as my new boots are super comfy, i am very happy with them.My wife bought blundstones from the Surrey location, they didn't fit, so she exchanged them for a different style, and GAM was good to exchange without issues. The new shoes didn't fit either, actually worse than the first style, yet i had already tried the same shoe on at another retailer and confirmed it fit, so with no return policy i was worried.Turned out the manufacture year and country was different from 2014 to 2017, so after another exchange for essentially the same boot, i was in luck and they fit. No problems or hassle exchanging, the boot issue was not their fault but he was genuinly surprised at the huge differnce, we all learned something today. Would certainly shop here again.

Have been here multiple times. Always rude and the job wasn’t even great. It’s been a few years so I thought I would try again. Assuming he is the owner and the same man most people have complained about was so rude wanted to charge me $85 for a job another place took on for $30 when I told him this was a lot he got upset. Was condescending and when I told him I had been quoted less else where he told me they have to pay rent (unprofessional) and then to go somewhere else. I understand the business but was so rude. Avoid this place. This isn’t the first time. He’s also been rude to my elderly mother. Go to new west they are very kind and do good work.

This guy has been in Guildford area for decades. He's re-soled, zippered and buckled my favourite pair of Harley boots which style has been discontinued. I've now had these boots for 15 years and they fit like a glove. Great prices, convenient location, excellent service

Good service and selection of shoes at a price that's too hard to pass up on name brand shoes. I'm a big fan of Blundstones so I get both my safety and soft toed Blundstones here! A bit harder to find since they moved outta Guilford mall but it's literally accross the street! ✌️

This is the best place to repair shoes or backpack in Vancouver. my son’s Samsonite backpack zipper was broken, I went to many repair places but they all said they can’t fix it, but GAM helped me fixed it very well! And the price is reasonable, they are the professional person to do their job.
