The food is amazing.the service could use a bit of a shine, there is usually 1 server working the whole floor. tarter sauce is in packets, wish they had fresh or a jar or squeeze bottle, the packets are bad for greasy fingers and the environment. Too bad the pop is not fountain pop and refillable. This place could change a few things. But they are super clean, food is hot and fresh and not to mention delicious. The fish was crispy outside and perfectly cooked inside. They even took us in for dine in about 40 mins before closing time. This spot is ALWAYS busy for take out! We know why!Would definitely eat here again, this was my 3rd time :)

Great food, horrible service. Our waitress acting like she hated her job. Another girl with blonde hair came up to us after ordering and basically asked us if we could afford 4 halibut dinners. Saying you know those dinners you ordered are $40 each". I know I may not look like I can afford it

The fish was really good with a light batter. Fries were nice and crisp but there were too many of them. Served with bread and butter which I thought was unnecessary. I really enjoyed the coleslaw but wished the portion was larger., along with more tartar sauce for the fish. The staff was friendly and efficient. I would go back.

Completely disappointed.. costed $47 for 3 pcs of fish .. all which were extremely greasy and had literally barley any fish inside!! Fries come from frozen bag .. save your money ..

What a great hidden gem. My husband and I went after doing some shopping and it is a quaint little place with great food and service. He had the mushroom caps to start and we each had the 1 pc fish and chips and it was very good. Large portions and great service.

Probably the worst fish and chips I've had in a while. Thick soggy batter. Great quality fish. Fries, not chips... seems like oven fries. Staff seemed nice. Perhaps other food is better.

Friendly staff, nice area. Can walk in garden or by river before or after your meal. Lots of parking. Accessible. Fish is great wish they had fresh cut fries. They offer other foods if your not a fan of fish. Soft serve ice cream is great way to cool off in the summer. Relaxed casual family restaurant.

This was the best fish and chips I've had since I left Montreal, 33 years ago.We arrived less than an hour before closing, and the staff didn't blink an eye. They treated us really well, and the food came out so fast we were both amazed.We both had the Cod 2 piece which was delicious, but what amazed us even more was how good the fries were!!Too bad I can only give a 5 ⭐, I'd give 10 ⭐ if I could!Thank you for a wonderful experience!

If it once was a best place for seafood, then not anymore. No clam chowder, no calamari. All food is frozen or processed. Mashed potatoes made of powder is absolutely gross, chef should try what he serves. Nice location though, could be amazing seafood restaurant if real food was used

Newfoundlanders and any fan of fish and chips would love this little fish and chip shop.Service was a bit disjointed when we were asked to sit down. We felt a little forgotten waiting about 10 min for a drink order and some tables had yet to be cleaned. However this was all forgiven when you could see how busy the waitress was. However 3 people standing at the front counter and only one lady cleaning table felt a bit lopsided. It felt that they could have been helping with the clean up at least freeing their waitress to help with orders and customer service.Regardless the place is very clean and warm. The fish was very good. My wife loved their cod. Flaky and soft she loved it. We loved it.
