Norval Pancake House
We stopped in today after a funeral- we like to support local small businesses when possible. We were the only ones in here which was to be expected-Monday afternoon in the summer in a small town. We were pleasantly surprised- quick service, great food and great prices. The eggs benedict was a great size for the price, and my spinach florentine omelette was quite good and enough for me to have half for lunch tomorrow. At these prices I highly recommend ordering additional sides- the only suggestion I would make, add an option to buy 1 pancake. I wanted the omelette but am disappointed we came to a pancake house and didn't order a pancake. But I can hardly justify ordering a pancake when I could not even eat my omelette.I am surprised that the average is only 3.9- this place is a very solid 4.5 if not 5. It was definitely not busy so maybe that has affected the rates. In any event, we would most certainly stop in here again if in the area.

Quiet, Cute, awesome food and love the smoothies!!! Very inexpensive for good quality food. Food came right away and service was great.

Very nice place, great food and staff is very friendly and attentive. Family owned restaurant. We were served by the owners daughter. Lovely young lady with a beautiful, warm smile. We will definitely be back.

The staff was very attentive. The food was delicious. We liked the oreo french toast and strawberry cream cheese crepe. As a bonus, they were playing a show we love to watch at home on their televisions. In my opinion, having the televisions playing TV shows instead of news channels is very creative. Awesome restaurant!

Amazing place! Second time here this month. Great service. Tasty food. Nice and quiet little place. This place is our new go-to for dine in breakfast and lunch! I had the Mexican sauté plate and my hubby had regular bacon and eggs! Last time it was a bigger group of us and we had the same awesome experience. Good prices, fresh food and love the diner vibe. Greatness all around!

I am not surprised to find that I am not the only one facing issues with the new owners. I provide filter replacement services for their espresso machine. About a month ago, we called Jay and scheduled a service, during which he was given a quote. We followed up with an email confirming the appointment details and the agreed-upon price. As per their machine's requirements, I went ahead and special ordered an expensive filter, which is non-returnable.Today, I sent a technician from downtown Toronto to Georgetown to perform the service. However, upon arrival, Jay informed the tech that their espresso machine was not functioning properly, and they no longer wanted the filter. I called Jay and explained that regardless of the current state of their machine (which we have nothing to do with), they had committed to replacing the filter. This commitment was made during the initial phone call a month ago, and it was also reiterated in the subsequent email. Jay didn't care.Throughout my 25 years in business, I have encountered only a few clients with this kind of attitude, and I believe none of them have managed to stay in business while prioritizing money over ethics. It's clear that reviews since the new owner took over indicate a similar trend. Suppliers - get your money up front prior to sending any goods or services.
