Walked through the pros and cons of all the different types of roof material that's available in a way that you can understand.He set a time frame for when things would be delivered and installed and he was able to do it sooner.The team he sent were very nice and professional.The roof looks amazing and will never have to deal with it again. Once upon a time we had a basic 3 tab shingle roof on a new home, in less than 5 months we had 3 wind storms and each time we had shingle damage, others in the subdivision faired worse than us. Shingles are not like they were many years ago. My past experience with metal roofs lead me to Install one on this new home. Home Shield Permanent Metal Roofing provided a solid quote on one of the thickest Guage Metal shingle available by Vic West (made in Canada too). Their install team lead by Cory did a great job of preping and installing over the existing shingles, keeping the bulk of a new roof out of the land fill.It's been a month now and after the crazy winds in May which caused much damage throughout Ontario, we experienced no damage at all.Many neighbour's have indicated we have the best roof in the subdivision, as a roofer was out to repair our neighbors roof, he asked about our Metal roof and said that was the way to go, I provided him with info about our roof as he intends to go that route for his new house.
