This place charges you for cleaning the fish and then gets defensive when you ask about it. They also rip you off on the weight of the fish they always round up on price

This is my go-to place to get fresh seafood. Great seafood, great service!

They indeed sell fish used for sashimi (both tuna and salmon). Prices were quite reasonable, and tasted fresh upon consuming immediately. Friendly staff although they round up to the nearest pound.

Good product and reasonable prices. Opening hours could be stretched to at least 6 pm. Rushed and got there 6 minutes before they but they rudely shooed me away and said we are closed. cWould buy more regularly if we didn’t have to take time off work to go to the store - would be better for your business too. Also staff could be less rude - it’s almost like they don’t want your business.

I like this seafood market. The fishes are fresh and the place is exceptionally clean. The staff are friendly and helpful... they also do a great job cleaning the fishes.

I have been buying my fish here for years. Aside from the fact that I love the gents who run the show, what makes me a loyal customer is the phenomenal quality/freshness of the seafood. In the new Toronto, where prices are constantly rising, I have also found their prices to be very reasonable and consistent.Strongly recommend Coral Sea to anyone looking for top quality seafood shop.

This business is so lovely that I stopped buying fish anywhere else and make a special trip to Kensington just to hit up Coral. The gentlemen who work there literally make my day just by selling me fish, they are so kind and we always have a good laugh. My favourite of their fish is the Greek sea bream (approved by my very picky, very Italian hubby), but their large scallops, shrimps and pickerel are a close second. If you love seafood and are an adventurous eater they always have a variety of different fish to try. Thanks again for the outstanding customer service and unbeatable product.

Great place, fresh fish, great customer service. Reminds me of the early s 90s when my dad and I use to go down to the Kensington market to purchase fish. Same feel now as it was 20 years ago!

Excellent place for what it does. Very fresh seafood and skilled mongers. I bought salmon head, some sashimi grade cuts as well as some king fish and clams. Prices are reasonable, remember it includes the service. There are also some seafood related canned goods and some frozen available. There were also excellent oysters available. You can see they have pride, after another customer asked for a pound, he picked them up and threw out any that seemed under quality rather than just give what was in the bowl.Warning during covid, you have to know what you want and what to do as it's 1 set of customers at a time and the slower you are the more others have to wait and the less sales they make. Not good for just browsing with no intention of buying.

The best fish store in Toronto. I have been going here more than 25 years, never had a complaint. Staff are nice, very friendly.
