Herongate Animal Hospital

Best place! My dog has severe anxiety and the only vet techs that can handle him is Herongate. They are exceptional at what they do and have so much love and compassion. I would highly recommend.

My experience probably doesn't reflect most. My previous review was based on personal bias. Gotta say, it does feel like they care. Kind reception, on-top of appointments, with a small and homely environment. Unfortunately pricey, and in my situation did not help.

Wonderful vet. Dr. Draboo, Melissa, Emily and Cynthia are caring at understanding, and truly interested in helping your pet, not just pushing extras for money.My cat Moonlight was very sick, and they went out of their way to give her the best treatment. Sadly, she passed away (she was pretty old) but I will be returning with our other two cats. Thanks for everything!!

My dog was really sick to his stomach. He had been throwing up for a few days and it got worse on the third day. I tried to get him into his vet office with no luck until 4 days away. I took a chance and called Herongate and they got my dog in right away. They did a thorough exam, got detailed history, did blood work and administered medication to help my dog. I am very thankful at their ability and willingness to help. There was no way my dog could have waited four days. The vet was extremely professional and thorough. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be bringing my dog back.

Simply put, everyone there is top-notch, very knowledgeable and professional but above all the most compassionate caring group of individuals in this field. I never feel nervous leaving Kobe in their hands.

Great experience!!!! Highly recommend!!!!!We moved to Herongate Veterinary Services and we could not be happier. Very professional, super friendly, caring compassionate staff. Our English bulldog Sully gets a little stressed on car rides when I explained this to Melissa the RVT/office manager she made extraordinary arrangements for our appointment to minimize any stress for Sully. Dr Macleod was fantastic, completed the exam and everything went extremely well. If your looking for a place to take your pet you can’t go wrong with Herongate. Electronic appointment reminders and invoices just adding to the convenience of the entire experience. 10/10

I was a little nervous about seeing a new vet. I’ve heard horror stories about people seeing a new vet and the worst case scenarios but Herongate totally changed my perspective. The staff are beyond friendly, they got me an appointment right away, great prices, the vet was very knowledgeable and gave great advice and they didn’t push anything I wasn’t comfortable with.I will deff be bringing my furry friend here for now on!

Dr Draboo and her team are absolutely incredible. They are super friendly and very caring when it comes to the animals. My husky Nitro went for his neuter and they took the best care of him possible to the point that a month later, you couldn't even tell he had surgery, and Melissa spent the day with him before we came to get him to ensure he was okay. If I were to ever recommend a vet to anyone, it would be here.
