I was disappointed at this location when I visited June 13th, 2023, as it was my favorite Restore, and it appears to no longer be lively and loved! It used to be filled with friendly staff & volunteers, customers too and today, I saw too many employees on their cell phones, not batting an eye to anyone who walked in or even bother to offer any assistance.I couldn't help but notice that 95% of the goods are extremely expensive and for that reason not much is moving out the door. I am sorry to say this, but this store definitely has the wrong individuals setting the prices. For example, nearly every print in a frame all had the same price tag, $50, when it wasn't even worth half of that price. Plus, it didn't matter if the print was large or small, buckled, water damaged or stinky, the same $50 price tag, or priced even higher. It should use the ample wall space available to hang these frames instead of jamming them in their storage box. It was hard to get access to some prints, and the larger frames were too difficult to even look at.If the Restore wants to make some fabulous coin, it should be taking the high-end donations that it receives and getting an appraisal instead of letting staff help themselves to these treasured goods and resell. Like the two ornate frames seen at the back of this store in the area marked sold items" in front of the garage door. Just by the look of what I saw today tells me that employees are making off with goods that will most likely be resold

They have great stuff for good prices. However, the store is impossible to contact when they're ready. I sent two emails checking availability of an item I saw on Kijiji, no response. I called two times without answer then three times the next day with no answer so I left a voicemail (that wasn't replied to). I had to get head office to track them down which took a few hours. Then when I finally got in contact, the item was still available and I was so happy. I gave my name and number to put it on hold. All day I was planning my new room around that desk. I bought items online to match or go with it. Then later that day when I got there, the associates we're just goofing off, didn't even acknowledge the customers. I didn't see the desk so when I asked about it, they told me they sold the piece earlier that day and that they don't do holds over the phone. Why take my information then?Broke my heart.

Store open but not a whole lotta interesting items. The usual nuts, bolts, tiles, a used Ryobi lawnmower, doors including short screen doors, many chandeliers, lights, a whole whack of pedestal sinks ~ just top part, toilet seat covers, complete kitchens of which 2 or 3 remain for sale. A couple of new gadgets to change a light bulb in a fixture well over your head and beyond your reach. Many mirrors not full length but wide at about 3' & waist high, regular junk artwork mixed with some copyright prints as well as 3 numbered original works of art from 3 separate artists. Half a dozen new chairs nothing fancy except their inflated $125 to $195 price tags. A couple of matching pine book cases without a price. All of this available as of Wednesday, Sept 15, 2021!

I loved this place! I have visited many Restore locations before and many are good, however here at North York they seem to be priced right and have a good selection. I bought a kitchen and the person that was there stayed well after closing time to help me load it. I would mention his name but unfortunately I forget, (hopefully he responds to this). Customer service was just really good and I recommend this location to anyone!

Lots of good quality pieces, modern light fixtures and antique furniture. Clean and well organized. Prices run a bit higher then other restores I've been too but selection is higher quality and in better condition.

Great staff, happy friendly atmosphere good tunes while you shop. The great finds at great prices are a bonus, and you know you are helping give families a leg up in a tough world. My favourite charity the HFH!

For any one who doesn't have everything new. Prices are very fair and it all goes to charity.
