DELBURNE MEDICAL CENTRE

This is the best family clinic I've ever been to. We lived in Calgary for 30 years, went through several family doctors and none were as thorough or caring as the doctors here. I especially like Dr. Inglis. He is caring, thorough and diligent. He always reviews past visits and your medical records and won't just throw pills at you without blood work and testing. There is also an intake nurse there named Jamie who is wonderful beyond words. She is tactful, compassionate and gentle. If you live in or near Delburne I highly recommend this clinic!

I try to make an appointment for the following Monday and the receptionist tells me to call Monday instead. I call Monday and they tell me they have no openings. Your better off going somewhere else . They will help you better than delbune ..

Dr Gage takes time to carefully explain in ways I'll understand and actively listens.RN Jamie has the most kindhearted demeanor. You can tell tell this is where she wants to be and that she cares!

This brand new Medical Center is exactly what Delburne has needed for years now! This is a future forward Medical Center that has many services that are not at your basic walk in clinics! The doctors here are all fantastic, the nurses and receptionists are all in a great mood and very easy to deal with! They all care about our small Village! I honestly cant say enough good things, as it would go on and on forever, but this is an absolute asset for the Village and allows our residents to have a family doctor that isnt in Red Deer or Stettler, all over 35min away! It saves us so much time and havinging the Pharmasave Pharmacy next door is also a huge asset to our community!Fun fact - It was the Doctor whom came to the Village and proposed building Delburnes first Family Clinic! The Village had open arms and was thrilled with this proposal! The building was constructed rather quickly (some stuff was delayed but overall it was worth the extra wait) and will be here for decades to come! After plans were unveiled, it was shown that there would be a Pharmacy, but nobody knew it was going to be a Big Box Pharmacy like Pharmasave! I myself love this as it makes the prescriptions more in line with what we would pay in Red Deer at a Big Box Pharmacy, and not a Mom and Pop Pharmacy that would likely have much higher prices due to not having such large buying power! Win win situation for Delburne, if you were to ask me!

Doctors are very good if you can get in to see one. It takes 3 weeks now for an appointment, so you still have to go to a walk-in clinic if you're sick. The receptionist is very rude and rarely answers the phone. 9 /10 times you just get a recording that they're closed even though they're open. Actual conversation when she finally answered:Can I make an appointment?"Snapped reply: "For what?"Um.. obviously to see a doctor

I tried to see a doctor here. For a simple 5 min prescription refill .The receptionist notified me they couldn’t see me yesterday. Because the doctor was busy seeing one patient.The receptionist told me the clinic was closing soon. But I checked online it said tge clinics normal operating hours was closing at 5:00pm. And when I was there was 3:30pm.There was no one in the waiting room and only two people I could see in the entire clinic.But they told me they couldn’t see me till the following week.This clinic in delburne was the biggest waste of money. I was there last year for a more serious problem. They informed me then they couldn’t see me unless I divulged personal info to the receptionistI told her then that was personal info between me and the doctor. Not to the front desk.So this is the second time I have to go to reddeer to see a doctor.Terrible service. A total waste of money.Thank goodness for the internet. A person can display tge treatment received from these places

I am a current patient and have always been satisfied with the gentle approach, professional staff, positive atmosphere and helpfulness from the health team nurses and doctors.

Never open when they say they are. Website says one thing and they say something else. Suppose to be open today and are closed. Fix your website to state your hours as apparently they are completely different. You open when you want and close when you want. Wish I had your job. Receptionist extremely rude all the time. Dr. Gage and the older nurse, are the bomb.

Have had multiple issues with reception and declining to see me before speaking to a Doctor. I called with a need of a simple assessment, they asked why I needed to be seen, my name and if I had a family Doctor. I replied yes but she is very difficult to get into and I need to be seen sooner than 2-3weeks from now. Was then informed Alberta Health is cracking down on people seeing multiple Doctors…first I’ve heard of this…was trying to avoid creating larger wait times in Emerg by utilizing the medical clinic in town. Very frustrated with this clinic as this is not the first time I’ve been refused to be seen.
