Unfortunately some people’s credit scores are too low to qualify for a “vehicle loan” that normally comes from a bank and carries a interest rate of 2%-10% so they end up having to get a loan from a finance company that has interest rates between 20%-40% “plus administration fees and other charges” ..You will end up paying around double or even more when having to get a loan for anything from a finance company…Ask your self if you need that $15000 dollar vehicle (Turns out to be a $30000 dollar loan) or can you save a few thousand dollars and buy a older vehicle for the time being until you have a better credit score…

Horrible customer service! It's been over a month a half, since my vehicle has been paid off. It was paid off earlier than the term... On 3 separate occasions, I have made contact with the office. Each time provided addresses and contact in order to mail out my plate/keys/documents. Each time, they make a note on the file and yet nothing has been mailed out. Every time I have asked for an explanation, as to why nothing has been mailed... There is silence, without an explanation... Considering Stage 2 of reopening is in effect, there is no explanation to the static performance to complete the task. As a customer, I would not recommend future business transactions to any individual... If possible, would submit a half star!

If I could give this company a ZERO star rating I would! firstly, their customer service is GARBAGE!! they do not care about their customers at all! being a first time car owner if you can avoid this 3rd party company please do!!!!! Being someone who bought their first car with bad credit is exciting and nerve-racking all at the same time! my interest rate is through the roof. which is expected.. I was able to get my car thanks to trend. I am currently a customer with trend and i am not pleased at all! I have been increasing my payments calling every 3 months for buyouts because I am so anxious to pay off my care being a young adult with lots of things to pay and goals to achieve this is so important to pay this off quickly. I had saved for a couple of months and made a 900 dollar additional payment. I called and asked for a buyout after that she sent me one but the cost was the same and I found that odd. she said she's call me back on this matter. Instead of calling me like she said she would. she sent me an email with the 1000 correction. no sorry, no phone call. Tell me how i am suppose to feel comfortable with a company like trend handling my money this loan that I am so desperately trying to get rid of if they are making big mistakes like that.. avoiding the customer, no apology and no type of customer service I called in and heard that some customers qualify for an interest rate decrease but because of one payment that was messed up a while ago but I am constantly change increasing payments and changing dates I missed it. :its their policy 16 months of straight payments to be eligible for decrease." My point is there should be some type of customer service or type of happy medium for the customer some type of bend for customers especially when they made a mistake that was not handled properly it was basically fixed and I was ignored. the whole time speaking with this manager all he was doing was explaining on how the mistake happened and that was about it. He called me back with no intention of trying to make me happy

Worst company ever as I had my loan paid off a year and a half ago now they starting charging me again saying it wasn’t paid in full and I was a system errror when at the time it was ending a rep told me it was done. I don’t recommend anybody deal with them as they are a bunch of crooks and scam artists in my experience.

Run. Please please please run. If I could shake me from 3 years ago I would. I would have begged myself to wait a month and not deal with these crooks. The red flags started right at the start. Offering one interest rate then increasing it, then making me borrow even more for an increased “down payment.” Then they don’t stop taking the money for the extra “loan” 6 months later. Now at the end of my term after NEVER missing a single payment, they’re adding fees out of no where, for insurance cancellation a year ago? I changed policies to save money. My insurance was never canceled or lapsed. This was corrected with them immediately and no fees were told to me over a year ago. I got a statement last week and no fee was there.So I call to fix it, I’m told the fee is removed. I get a statement and it’s now been ADDED to my statement when it wasn’t there last week, rather then be removed. They’re affecting my ability to complete my new car loan with a reputable lender. Please go with anyone else. These people are crooks. Squeezing every last penny at the very end of my lease that I’ve paid on time every month for 3 years.

This company doesn't deserve a star for how they treat their customers. Very rude and condescending, and they like to talk over top of you rather than listen. They continue to take payments from your account even when the loan has been paid out in full, so buyer beware and proceed with caution before engaging with this company as you may also end up paying more for your loan compared to what was agreed to in your legal binding contract. Good luck trying to regain the funds that they over took. I'm confident that this company's goal is to treat their clients like garbage even though our payments pay their wages and help to keep their doors open for business. I guess that is the new trend these days!!

I've been with this company 5 years and has been nothing but problems. What you can think of this company did to the point I've had my bank only allowed the agreed amount to be let out and still tried to take out more and i would get a call saying I've had all this NSF fees and would see by my bank they would try for months to take out more and every month a new worker would call me saying the other one quit and i would have the same problems all over this place is a fraud will take you for a long painful ride you wish you never signed up for. Please go elsewhere for your new car now that I paid off they still try to take money out.

Sept. 2017I have dealt with Trend Financial for a car loan. The worst experience of my life. The terms were discussed and unfortunately it was a big scam. Everyone you deal with ends up leaving so there are no repercussions.My lease finished and it took 4 months for someone to contact me. I still am yet to receive my ownership.All kinds of B.S. fees on top of the high fees to begin with.I do not recommend and I wish I had the same way to review before I got sucked in. Unfortunately I could not give zero stars. I wish Google would add a zero star rating. I'm sure this company would have many.An addition:February 2, 2018I have just noticed that there was a posting in response to my review.Nothing was resolved but I was contacted by a Trend rep. who asked if I could remove my post. I was offered $25 to do so. By the way its still here, because even for $25000 I wouldn't want the people who use google reviews to make an informed decision to be screwed over like myself and many many others out there.Anyhow, now 10 months after my lease was paid in full and the vehicle in my name clear, I received an email saying I'm in arrears for something to do with insurance cancellation in July 2017, 4 months after my lease expired. This company is a complete joke and I wouldn't refer them to my worst enemy. BE CAREFUL!!!!!! Anyone thinking of leasing here, please I implore you, think twice. I wish I could give them an added zero star for harassment after the fact.

Where do I even begin? This company is absolutely TERRIBLE!! From the beginning to the end. One bad experience after another. Where do they find their employees? The customer service is atrocious, I don’t think I have ever experienced such poor service and the wait time to even speak with someone is unacceptable and when you do FINALLY speak with someone they are rude, no help, give the wrong information or just don’t care enough to look into your inquiry. For example, we sent a cheque for our buyout on a Wednesday and we expedited it with tracking, the cheque had been received the Friday, the following Tuesday, hadnt heard anything so we emailed to ensure that they had received it (even though we already knew they had) and the response back was no they had not received it yet". Lies. By mid-Tuesday the cheque still hadn’t been deposited

Very disorganized and non transparent glad my loan is paid of and good riddance to them! If you can go else where. I had a perfect payment with them for 4 years after almost 2 years in I found out they weren't even reporting it to the my credit report for on time payments. Cost me a ton of credit growth. When you have an issue they are slow as a snail to get back to you however harass via email text and phone calls to try and get you into a new lease despite saying no multiple times. Poor communication!
