Love this place for my cats. Lovely staff and does a great job. Therefore since they are so good it takes months to get an appointment.

Sent an email on the website and never received a response.

Quick, efficient, pleasant with my dog. Would definitely recommend for nail clipping. They just be doing something right their grooming appointments are booked out until January.

Great place, we brought our big King Shepherd who needed a lot of pampering here. Roxy came out looking like she lost a ton of weight from all the long dead hair that was on her. She spent a good 3 hours there with non stop attention. This was the first time Roxy has been groomed and I would say that it went pretty well. It was a little expensive since we have a 100 lbs medium\long hair dog. But well worth it :) We will definitely be returning about every 6 months with Roxy here.

This place is the only place that can cut my shiba inu's nails. I drive from Ottawa to Gatineau just to get them done here. 5/5 would rate higher if I could!

An owner should never be expected to bring home their precious dog with an open wound on their beloved pet that needs medical attention, but Johanne of Head to Tail Pet Grooming thinks this is an appropriate way to send a dog home and that they aren't responsible for paying for the vet fees for a wound they caused, and worse, the owner was charged in full for the grooming. No one should expect to pick up their dog to have to immediately rush the dog to the vet after a SIMPLE dematting and grooming, a truly professional groomer would never harm their clients dog. If this woman wasn't impatient and rushing to get the job done then this poor dog would not have had a gapping wound under its leg, and if she had any sympathy she would have called the vet herself and taken responsibility for the pain she put the dog threw instead of throwing blame. Don't go to this groomer unless you want your dog to be in distress and potentially get maimed.

Cut a dog open and they refuse to take any accountability even after it needed stitches. Owner is not very professional and blamed the customer and the dog for being too wiggly. find a groomer that wont cut your dog open at the same time they groom because its wiggly.

I contemplated writing this review for a while as I wanted to make sure it was an ongoing occurrence .I have been bringing my dog here for a good 11 months . Where my dog would go atleased ones a month. At the beginning the service was great, very friendly staff and my dog always came back very properly groomed . However, every time I would bring her in or would come pick her up she would be very anxious. My dog is a very sociable and friendly so this seemed unusual. As time went on I would notice little cuts by my dogs ears and around her face after her grooming appointment . Again very unusual.Last grooming appointment I came to pick up her up and as I was entering I saw one of the staff use an air horn ! Apparently the dogs were being to noisy. However using an air horn is unacceptable. When we confronted the staff about the air horn they denied it and just brushed it off. I found this very unprofessional and unacceptable as dogs have very sensitive ears and should not be exposed to it. Because of the last incident I will not be bringing nor recommending this grooming service. It also taught me to pay attention to my intuition and to trust my dogs character. If they start acting different when being brought or after a grooming appointment something is wrong and you should take action. Truly hope I did not have to write or experience this however it has been an ongoing occurrence .

I can't say enough great things about this groomer. We have taken our dog to many different groomers, we were always dissapointed or just a little satisfied. With this groomer we were extactic with what they did. They made our 10 year old dog look like a 6 month old puppy. I highly recommend them.

By far the best grooming in the whole region !! Staff is friendly and very clean place. We have been going for years now and its the only place we’ll go even if we live in another country (kind of extreme but it’s true) . One of my dogs is kind of difficult with unknown people, this place is the only place where they accept him and do a good job and he’s not all cut at the end .
