The food is authentic and delish!! The custard tarts are made in house and are a must at every visit. Also check out the frozen Portuguese items as well!!

This is an amazing little restaurant in North Oshawa. We ordered the Family platter which included Rice, eight pieces of Pirri Pirri chicken, Parisienne potatoes and Salad which could easily feed four people. It was great value too. The staff were super friendly and were amazing. Great customer service.

Love this spot for Portuguese food. Got the Family Pack and some Pastel de Nata. I enjoyed everything and the tarts were divine! Chicken seemed a little dry but still very tasty with the piri piri sauce. Staff were friendly and had welcoming smiles. Will definitely be returning.

A follow-up to my earlier review. The family meal indicated that the chicken was supposed to be BBQ. When I got home, I opened the container that is supposed to contain BBQ chicken. It had rotisserie chicken, which is cheaper than the BBQ and not what was advertised in the Family Dinner package advertised on the menu. How is it possible for chicken that is referred to as BBQ have absolutely zero BBQ sauce (refer to the photo)!?? This restaurant employs individuals who not only give preferential treatment to Caucasion customers, but also cheat customers that are not Caucasian. Do not support this restaurant.On a side note...if you walk into a restaurant to purchase take out and notice that a customer is being served food that is exactly what you had planned to order, discreetly video tape the transaction (without revealing the identities) so that you capture the portions served AND video tape the portions that you are served. In hindsight, I should have done that. I will from now on.UPDATEWith respect to the owners response, he was not there when a white male customer was given an over stuffed large container of potatoes while I was given 1/3 less. On top of that, a white couple who ordered potatoes amongst other items after I placed my large order received their potatoes before I did!! Even the cashier noticed this and had no explanation as to why that happened. On top of that, the white couple had their order placed on top of the warm oven while waiting for the potatoes. My order was dumped on the salad counter. This place is obviously racist. I deserve to have my money back!

The staff working here are so friendly.They took the time to explain the various dishes, gave samples to my kids to try and were so welcoming.As far as the food, it was all delicious. We had the vegetable rice, cod, Parisienne potatoes, and some bean/lentil soup that went very well on the rice.We'll definitely go back!

First time I went and ordered BBQ chicken. Was for Christmas eve. Order was to be picked up at 3pm went at 4 was not ready and the waiting was about an hour. But the lady kind of prepared me well the day I placed the order so I was kind of expecting that. It was just the guy at the cashier, was overwhelmed and wasn't efficient, since all of us were picking up. Just to reach the cashier and him to be able to talk to you, it was like 30 minutes wait and I was like fifth in line.But other than that, on regular basis they're great, service and time wise

Great food here. Lots of flavour. The piri-piri is fantastic and the chicken is delicious. One minor issue is the website prices do not match the prices at the store. Other than that, very good place and lovely staff.

Ordered grilled sea bass and half chicken dinner. Good value!Update: I took two stars off after the 2nd visit. The custard tarts i bought from the store were not fresh. Bought a full box and had to dump most of them. What a waste!

Lovely service and the best portugese I’ve tried in town.

If I could give less that 1 star I would. Tonight we found a cockroach in the potatoes...I really liked this place, too. So, I'm both morified and disappointed. This restaurant needs a Health Inspection.
