Sherwin-Williams Paint Store

Went in with pictures of what needed to be painted. I was told I would need a full gallon of primer and a gallon of tinted paint. Clerk recommended a more expensive paint and then changed his mind when he realized it was out of stock. I completed the prime coat and barely used half a quart. They upsold me beyond belief. Now what do I do with this leftover wasted paint. Very unprofessional.

Store is ok in terms of arrangement of items but the staff is not friendly at all. The attitude seems to be don't bother me. Being new at painting our place I was hoping to get some suggestions. The employee named Edmund basically did not want to help at all. Gave very close ended answers. When inquiring about what does light reflective value mean on a paint he just said it doesn't affect the paint color at all. I googled and found better explanation than that. Definitely would not consider giving business to this type of poor customer service stores. If you don't want to help customers don't have a storefront, do your businesses online and even then you'd have to answer customer's questions. Worst customer service!Definitely helpful to someone making a purchase but not to someone asking about what they may need.

Nice clean store! Everything clearly labelled which made product selection easy for me. However, the employees don't seem very friendly. Was not greeted nor was offered any assistance with colour selection.

At first, they didn't greet me.. until they realized I was actually going to buy something.. I would appreciate if they came out behind the desk and helped me out, discussed what I was actually interested in purchasing. Instead of me going to ask. Btw, this was on Victoria, other than that it's a great price, will definitely be back soon!

Fast and friendly, but difficult find parking. The parking lot in the back was completely full, but there were only 2 customers in the store. I had to park a block away and carry my paint back. Free workout included with my order!

It was my first time purchasing paint, the person doing the painting of fascia boards was busy and sent me to the store to make the purchase. I did not know anything about painting. At the counter I asked for paint to use on fascia boards and showed the colour sample that I had picked out, I also let the staff know that I am new to painting and needed his advice. The staff asked if I needed a gallon and I told him I needed two. Since this was my first time purchasing, I thought it was normal that the receipt showed 2 @ $89.49. I was surprised to see two cans when my paint was ready, but then I thought maybe they only come in one gallon cans. It was only when I brought the paint back that my friend told me I overpaid, 2 gallons of paint would be cheaper than two 1-gallon cans. I am not impressed, the staff should have checked with me if they knew I needed two gallons and they were going to give me something that costed more than what I should have paid.------I called the customer service number provided in the response and was told that Sherwin-Williams do not offer discount for 2 gallons of paint, so the store did not overcharge me. However, if I have to update the score, I would change it to 0 star. I found that I needed another gallon of paint, so I went back to the store but they did not have any! Since I needed the paint to finish the job, I asked if any other stores had stock. The customer service rep called another store on the spot and he got hung up by the other store. He then told me they are too busy to help me, and that I should go home and call other stores myself! I work in retail myself, I would never waste customers' time like that.And to finish off the story, I called the Kerrisdale store and the person answering the phone told me that the paint is discontinued and not available anymore! I was shocked. I called the main customer service number again and was told the Kerrisdale store had a few gallons in stock. This made me very confused. I took the chance and went to the store and sure enough they have stock. What an experience! Sherwin-Williams certainly scored zero in customer service.

Staff was very friendly. This was the first time I ever set foot in a paint store and they were very helpful in helping solve my problem. It was to match a paint color that I had lost several years ago to touch up. The staff member had to manually match it and results were very good. Thank you!

The customer service is really good even though the product wasn't in stock. The rep checked to see if the product was available at other locations and suggested an even closer location which we didn't know about. He even called ahead to make sure it was available upon our arrival at the other location.

Staff is all racist ,i take around 30 to 40 pales from Sherwin Williams every month but they don’t even respond anyone ,they were fighting with me on 2 August front desk guy at around 9am

Clean well organized shop. Efficient service.But the paint...Sherwin Williams Opulence interior eggshell- $46.66 3.8LThin, splatters and not great coverage.So I followed at Home Depot withBehr Premium Plus interior eggshell paint/primer in one. $39.98 3.8LThicker, better coverage. Plus less odor after dry.
