What started as a search while in Germany, ended up as a perfect way to capture our engagement. Kaitlyn went above and beyond any photographer we have ever worked with- from sitting in the rain under an umbrella 60 minutes early, to finding the perfect angle and background, to bringing out the best personality in both of us. Not only do we highly recommend her as a person and photographer, but can't wait until we can work with her again.

Kaitlyn was amazing to work with as our photographer to celebrate our honeymoon. Her overall attitude towards photography, and us as her clients was exceptional! She went above and beyond what you'd expect from a photographer; picking us up and taking us to different shooting locations, bringing us our favourite drink to celebrate our day, even going as far as to help the bride change her shoes! We would recommend Kaitlyn based off her attitude and friendliness, but the quality of our photos is a giant cherry on top.

Kaitlyn was able to capture some of the most beautiful pictures I could ever imagine . Not only did she make my fiancé and I more then comfortable and at ease . It can be stressful doing photo shoots , and Kaitlyn made every step for the way an experience . From getting my fiancé and I in canoe and rowed out to a beautiful little island. Charismatic and with a get spunky attitude Kaitlyn had us changing poses and getting us out of our confront zone . Was a absolutely wonderful experience. She will for ever be my go to photographer . She has a very keen eye , and understands the mountains so well , she new the exact time and place for perfect lighting and the best results for the perfect portraits .I will always refer her and her crew , as the best of the best ❤️

An impromptu getaway to Canmore is what started our experience with Kaitlyn. Working with Kaitlyn was truly everything my fiance and I could ask for, she captured exactly what we wanted, a simple and relaxed feel for the both of us. Unlike most photographers, once I submitted the initial inquiry form, she gave me a call and we chatted and got to know each other a little bit before I knew that I wanted to choose her! So personable, friendly and easy to talk to, helping me choose what we'd be able to do with our budget in terms of location and time. Very accommodating and when the pictures were initially supposed to be done in Kananaskis, because of a scheduling change, she was able to offer us pictures in Lake Louise, while keeping us within our budget and giving us more than we wanted!The entire shoot felt so natural and effortless, she really does make you feel like you've been in front of a camera before, even if you've never! Kaitlyn will give you as much, or as less direction as you need, and she will do what it takes to capture her vision for the look of the photos. She is truly one of a kind!If you are ever in the Kananaskis area, or Canmore, I couldn't recommend Kaitlyn enough. She is truly a perfectionist of her craft, her talent and hard work shows in every aspect of her business. Seeing the final product of the pictures truly blew us both away, and we hope to be able to work with her in the future!

Kaitlyn was amazing from the very first time we connected with each other through WeddingWire in spring 2020. She was more than patient with us while we navigated through moving our wedding date from 2021 to 2022. She is amazingly talented and a kind soul. One of those people that you wish" would be your wedding photographer from the way she puts you at ease. My husband and I are not super photogenic

Kaitlyn made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day in Cuba. 'Comfortable’ because we knew that she would not only get the job done (punctual, professional, great quality, etc.) but comfortable in the sense that we was working with true artists. We felt at such peace working with her prior to our big day because they walked us through everything step-by-step and we felt freedom because she wanted what we wanted. I feel it is rare today to find professionals with true heart and talent behind every inch of their work. Kaitlyn is amazing to work with. She captured every beautiful moment of our day and turned our photos into masterpieces that we will cherish forever. I’ll never go anywhere else after experiencing what she can do!!!!

Owl eye photography is a whole experience! Kaitlyn is the photographer I didn’t know I ever needed so badly. My partner and I did all our wedding planning on our own. Kaitlyn was there with us every step of the way starting at our engagement photos. I truly think our wedding went off without a hitch because of how involved owl eye was with the planning. She was so knowledgeable regarding timeline. Assertive and clear communication when it came to working with our wedding vendors prior to and on the day of our wedding. Her time management was impeccable. It was evident she has a lot of experience specifically with wedding photography. The time and effort did not go unnoticed. The attention to small details and the care put into the big ones. She scouted a beautiful location for our bridal party photos.Our wedding was postponed in 2021 and luckily owl eye photography was still able to shoot our wedding. And was in regular contact over the next year till our new wedding day. I am so grateful because our photos are beautiful. I could not believe how many photos we got. when my husband and I first looked through them he had tears in his eyes. I must say Kaitlyn made me feel so beautiful. Her energy gave us life. Such an incredible experience that I now have for the rest of my life in these photos.

Kaitlyn chose a hike for our family of 6 that would be the perfect level for our 5 year olds but still get amazing shots of us being a family in the mountains. The results were better than we could have expected. Every time we show our friends and family the pictures they are blown away with the quality and backdrop. I highly recommend any active family that wants to capture memories doing active things to contact her!

Kaitlyn is fun and easy to work with. She made us feel comfortable, and was super easy to communicate with both before the day and on it. Her photos are absolutley perfect, and showcased both us and out venue beautifully.

From the Heart: Kai's Unmatched Care and Dedication in Capturing Our Wedding DayFrom the moment we first met Kai, we were struck by her warmth, her attention to detail, and her clear passion for her craft. Throughout the planning process, she was always available to answer our questions and offer helpful advice, and she took the time to get to know us as a couple, which really helped her understand our vision for the day.Despite the challenging weather conditions on your wedding day, Kai (and Cam, second shooter and Kai’s partner - fantastic person, if you have the chance hire him as well) were absolute troopers. With temperatures reaching as low as -40 degrees Celsius, it was not an easy day for anyone involved. But even in the face of such adversity, they remained upbeat, proactive, and completely unfazed.On the day of the wedding, Kai was an absolute joy to work with. She was incredibly organized and professional, but also relaxed and easygoing, which put us both at ease and made the whole experience so much more enjoyable. She managed to capture all of the important moments of the day without ever feeling intrusive or disruptive, and she was always on hand to offer guidance and direction when needed.And when we received the final photos, we were absolutely blown away. Kai had managed to capture the essence of the day so perfectly, from the small, intimate moments between us and our loved ones to the grand, sweeping shots of the ceremony and reception. Her attention to detail was unparalleled.Additionally, it was such an amazing experience that we had to repeat it (lol). We ended up hiring Kai for another session of portraits and again that was another fantastic experience, not to mention, the photos were absolutely stunning!Overall, we can't recommend Kai highly enough. She is a true professional in every sense of the word, and her love and care for her clients really shines through in every aspect of her work. If you're looking for a photographer who will go above and beyond to capture the magic of your special day, Kai is the perfect choice. She is FANTASTIC!
