Marine Traders

I give it 2 stars because they have alot of things I needed and where friendly.i take away 3 stars because they sold me a pfd re arm kit that was broken. the next day I tried to return.no I went to exchange it. the person at the store was Making out like I tried to pull one over on them. I don't know what but he wouldn't exchange it because he looked at the date and was 2 years old. so not only was it broken but it was close to expire date i spent over 500 there and to get treated in such a way I find very disturbing.actually i am changing to one star because you can't give zero stars.

Good service and a decent selection of gear and supplies. Prices are reasonable.

This business is a good one. They are clear, concise and sell quality marine products. So far so good.

Marine Trader's is the model for the perfect fishing and hunting store. The staff and ownership have been incredibly stable for years. All of the staff are knowledgeable about the area and their products. I highly recommend you give them a visit.

Pretty brutal, asked if they could order a PFD in for me, and the guy at the counter made it sound like it was really inconvenient for him to do so. Said he would call to let me know if he could find it. Never called back. It's actually easier to order on-line but I'm really trying to support local brick and mortar store.

Very impressive stock of boating, fishing gear, charts etc... Staff are knowledgeable and helpful but definitely not warm and fuzzy. Within walking distance to the public boat launch and harbor.

Always a knowledgeable staff

First time I entered the store when I moved to PR 7y ago, a couple of older men were watching the store, and they rudely ignored me the whole time I was there. Maybe it was my mohawk, but ignoring someone cos they don't LOOK like they love fishing is throwing money away.I didn't go back again until this summer when I realised they were the only ones selling bait worms, and the young man and woman who were there were attentive, helpful, and gave me some great advice. I'm genuinely sorry my first experience was so offputting, cos I have spent so much money on fishing gear at Canadian Tire that I absolutely would have spent at Marine Traders instead, if I'd known the Rude Dudes weren't the norm.Anyways, now I know better and I look forward to throwing future fistfuls of cash at this well-stocked, friendly, cluttered-but-clean store that reminds me of all the candy store looking tackle shops I roamed in the 70s while my mom shopped for plugs and flashers.

Great shop for pretty much anything marine related. Lots of fishing equipment, boating, and hardware. If you're looking for something, they might just have it or know where you can find it. Staff are friendly and helpful. Store is packed with a much as they can fill it with.
