They sell products very close to expiration or expired and when you try to return they refuse stating it is expired and cannot resell. They brand themselves as Healthy but they manufacture products that are not organic containing pesticides and other harmful substances. Their personnel has high turnover due to very poor working conditions. Worst of Gatineau on this type of store. They do not care about health, just pure good profit for them---------------------------------Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I love shopping at Sol as they have a varied assortment of products from regular every day items to more niche products such as organic and fair trade. They always have fresh fruits, vegetables, coffee, a huge bulk section where you can buy everything from grains to peanut butter. I definitely recommend it if you are shipping in the area.

Every few years I happen to stop by here to get something that was recommended to me, and they always have it. And the store keeps getting bigger and better. Staff are always very helpful. Good to see a small local business grow and keep going after so many years! I'd go more often if it were closer to me.

To be fair, a specialty store like SOL cannot price match. They are operating with highly specialized items and a smaller clientele base. I found them very helpful any time I was visiting Aylmer. It would be great to have a similar type of store in Hull.

Lots of great variety and sales. I very much appreciated the nice and friendly energy from the woman at the Cash today and everyone is knowledgeable.

Simply the purest bulk ingredients you can find. This store was established in the mid 80's by 5 private local owners and the care, quality and passion for healthy, whole and organic foods is riveting, inspiring and truly present throughout the store. The prices however are also incredibly, (sometimes laughably shockingly) high to a point of ridicule. 7th generation 22 diapers pack 35.00$ (15.00$ on amazon).

I was very excited to come here when I discovered it.They have so many options for vegetarian individuals.The only problem I see is that some of the items are priced higher then you would see in a grocery stores “organic” isle.They should think about price matching.

If you've been to a natural food store, you know what to expect from Sol. Solid selection, prices a bit higher than a regular grocery store, lots of alternative options (daughter is allergic to a bunch of stuff). Overall, good spot.
