Cumberland County Exhibition

I tried to book a Farmers’ Market in the main exhibition building and it was two weeks of back and forth and petty passive aggressive exchanges from their managers. We were accused repeatedly of expecting volunteer hours from their committee even though all we needed was a space. Original offers were revoked without notice, accessibility information was not provided when asked, information about water for our vendors was not provided x and in the end we were unable to book due to not being allowed to move something another group in the space needed for 3 HOURS a week, not being offered a space with a wheelchair accessible washroom (for a farmers’ market) Andentire community lost out on a perfectly functional space, everyone wanted their farmers’ market in this building.
