Big Guys Tree Service

I never do reviews, but I had to share my experience as it was excellent! I had an emergency where a tree had fallen and blocked our vehicles in. The weather was horrible (winter advisory), but Big Guys Tree Service didn't mind. They were there within an hour, maybe less!! The employees were more than respectful, professional, fast, and were glad they were there to help! I cannot express how happy my family and I are with this company! Outstanding service, knowledge, and a great price! Highly recommend!

These guys cut down a tree in my neighbors yard about 8 feet from my driveway where my wife’s Jaguar SUV, And my brand new ram TRX Dropping branches all over the new vehicles and their service trucks were parked in front of my driveway and spilled oil all over the road in front of my house.The guys never even asked or told me I might want to move the vehicles. A quick knock on the door would have solved all these issues.I have contacted them with no response whatsoever. I guess there’s a reason they don’t put their address on the business cards.

This company was very efficient and responded very quickly for my situation. If I could I would give them a ten star review they where very professional and explained what needed to be done to solve my problem. A great company and I plan on referring them to other people and plan on using them again if such a situation should arise again. For all those haters who gave this company a bad review they must have this company confused with some other company these guys where great and very kind, William went above and beyond what he needed to to take care of our problem and for that we thank him very much, especially since he came on a Sunday.

I had a 40 foot Honey Locust tree that was too close to my house for me to even attempt to bring down. I called 4 local companies for quotes and William showed up that day and was straight with me unlike the others in my opinion. I called them back and they showed up a couple days later and took the tree down. They cleaned everything up and left. It was that simple. I highly recommend them, they did an excellent job for me.Thanks again William and Crew.

BG was great. He came by right away to review the work and he gave me a good price. He said the stumps would be get taken care of a few weeks later but it took less than a week and they were gone. Very happy with our experience. Great guy and great work. I highly recommend this company.

This company is so unprofessional. Let me start off by saying this. The guy came over my house to do an estimate. The same day he started making excuses saying that he's going on vacation next week. I said ok call me when your ready to do the service. A day later he calls and tells me he can come over and do the service if I'm home. I told him I will be home from 2 to 2:30 and when I get home that time he makes another excuse saying it's too hot for my employees to work on the yard. The next day comes and I call to confirm and there's no answer twice. I then called the office to talk to his secretary and she says she'll get back to me and never does. I called another time at the cell number and finally someone answers who's not the owner saying someone will be there at my place to do the service and I wait until 5 and no one shows up. STEER CLEAR OF THIS UNPROFESSIONAL COMPANY! They are unreliable and will keep blowing you off and lie to you!!!

Neighbors hired these bargain bin lumberjacks to cut down some trees. Day started off with them leaving leaking oil cans and leaking gas cans in my front yard, including parking a little tracked machine that leaked hydraulic fluid all over my grass. They ended the day by blocking off 70% of the street with piles of wood, where cars had to drive across someone elses yard in order to get around the logs.I'm not sure how it is possible, but every single one of their clapped out vehicles leak fluid from everywhere. Oil, coolant, transmission fluid. The entire road is now stained from every vehicle that they parked there during the 2 day ordeal. The road looks like it has permanent puddles on it.I didn't watch them for more than 5 minutes, but I only witnessed them land one log that destroyed a property fence. I never heard any sirens or ambulances, so they must not have hurt anyone. So maybe they are safe.They did crush a neighbors mailbox during the process, including snapping the pole. They were going to replace it, and a week later the mailbox is still totally destroyed.If I had to choose between using Big Guys tree service, or squatting naked over a flaming hibatchi, I would gladly choose option 2.

Neighbor employed them for tree removal on the other side of their 40 foot lot in Berkley Michigan. They came upon my property on the opposite side and first removed two branches at the property line or close enough. Presuming they were done as they were now working on the tree they came out to remove, I went into my house. When they were done and I came back out I found they had entered upon my property, removed 1/4 of the tree that was 35 feet tall 25 feet wide in canopy, a norway maple that is slow growing. They cut 2.5 feet inside of my fence line and had to have cut the main trunk branches standing in my yard. The privacy fence is wholly contained inside the property line. These actions will result in the future demise of a tree of estimated value having been growing 21 years, of $30,000. Will be seeking court resolve as the damages are treble. Make certain if you hire these guys they have proof of insurance that is current, lest you the homeowner become the insurer of their malicious destruction of property actions. They attempted to justify their actions when they told the local police who were called that they did me a favor as my electric line ran through the tree even though it was my own personal line from the pole to the house, and they were not hired nor asked to perform such services.

These guys were so great. I called and they responded immediately. They quoted a great price and did the job as they said they would. Also they had safety first and looked at all the angles before the trees were cut down. They cleaned up all the branches and even used a leaf blower to make the yard look great. We wanted to keep the good wood for campfires and they cut it into manageable peices for us. We did not expect that. Definately would use them again.

We had two large Maple tree branches fall on our roof leaving a bunch of debris that needed to be cleaned. They removed trees, chipped a bunch of logs, cleaned up the mess and spent a long day out here making sure my yard looked like new. I am surprised to hear other reviews say they were not clean and didn’t care for others property. They were MORE than caring of my property.The job these guys do is difficult and perhaps people would have a different take if they were knocking down huge trees between cars and homes. Amazing job and would highly recommend.
