Mystic Pawz Dog Grooming

First time at this groomer and i have to say i wont be back. My dogs haircut was ok although for the price i paid i could have gotten a Teddy cut done with my previous groomer. His ears were not cut straight. But worst of all i brought my dog there freshly bathed and he came back to me with a stench of what i can only describe as another dogs filth. I can't speak to the cleanlyness of the house he was being groomed because they don't allow customers past the rear stairway, something i also didn't like. As for my dogs experience well as we all know dogs can't talk but actions speak louder than words sometimes and he has has never once been upset on the drive home. After a good grooming hes almost exited to show it off but this time he shook the entire drive home and has had his tail between his legs ever since. So those are my reason for my negative review. Oh! One more thing, she insists on making you pay before you see here terrible work so i even made the mistake of tipping her. Here's a tip for future customers. Find someplace else!

The best dog groomer you can bring your dog to in the Calgary area. My dog is quite anxious, but feels at ease with Priscilla. He always looks and smells amazing. I am always happy to support local businesses and not those big box dog stores. I recommend her to all my friends who are looking to have their dogs groomed.

I took my pup to Mystic Pawz for his very first haircut. He's almost 2 and was getting pretty matted. He can be pretty anxious and is always very excitable so the fact that I got to drop him off at a house and not a busy shop was a major bonus!We were both definitely a little nervous and I was worried it wouldn't even be possible to have him groomed, but I couldn't be happier with the results!He looks (and feels) like a whole new dog. They did a fantastic job and I would definitely recommend their services to anyone looking for a dog groomer!

I had so many issues with cutting my pups nails at home due to fear and finally took her to Mystic Pawz. The Mystic Pawz groomer was so calm and great with my pup, giving her time to calm down and had her nails done within 5 minutes with no issues! I now get her nails done regularly here and her fear has dissipated.

Ghandi loves his new haircut!!!Mystic Pawz did a great job. The price is competitive with other Groomers in the south of Calgary. The owner came out and talked to me in length as to what I was looking for his cut. This was Ghandi's first haircut so I had lots of questions. I am happy with the service they offered and the little bow tie when I picked him up was a nice touch. Thanks!

Absolutely love taking my dog here. My dog has had bad experiences at different grooming places before, but she always leaves here happy. Beautiful soft coat and no nick marks every time I pick her up. I’d recommend this place to anyone!

Mystic Paws, is an amazing find, you won’t want to loose. I have been returning back, for a few years now. Amazing service and receiving full service treatments for both the dogs in our household. I’m comfortable leaving them with Priscilla, knowing they are in good hands, and will be cared for. However, the real appreciation, is all over my dogs face, when you can tell, just how good, they feel afterwards!Thank you for your exceptional skills, willingness to accommodate my needs and always being so friendly and kind!

Due to an error on my part with detangler and a blow dryer, my puppy was more than I could manage. Priscilla not only did an amazing job, but listened to everything I asked for!! Higwits came back calm and looking like a princess!!! Three days later and I'm still delighted every time I look at her. Thank you Priscilla!!

Just took my 2 little Chihuahuas to Mystic Pawz for their first grooming here in Calgary and they came home fresh, clean and happy! Will definitely be taking them back.

I cannot say enough good things about Mystic Pawz. We have an adorable but incredibly shy and slightly fearful rescue dog that has separation anxiety issues.We took him to a few alternate places for his first grooms - and those went badly. The first one, the place didn't bother to cut his hair; he came out super poofy and to this day will not step foot in the pet store where it was located (and we've even been in that store in other countries and he'll run right out). The second was no better and he came out long and poofy again, and every time we drove within a kilometer of the groomer, he would start trembling uncontrollably in the car.We were getting frustrated when a man at the dog park suggested Mystic Pawz. After one visit we were hooked. Our dog came out clipped well (we clip him for his comfort, not style), he didn't seem to be traumatized, and the service and pricing has been sublime.They have been our go to for years now and we are always happy with the level of service and the care that goes into dealing without our cautious mutt. They've been great and trimming him as short as possible (once again - for his comfort, but he still looks like a champ). He has seem multiple groomers at the location and always have gotten great results.We moved to a different community about a year ago but will still drive him to Mystic Pawz over something more local because they are the only ones we know will get the job done without stressing our dog out too much. We are so thankful and will be patrons for life - with this dog and all others that follow him.You will not regret going to Mystic Pawz!
