I Love Martial Arts

I have known Master Choi for more than 15yrs. He is a great martial artist and a teacher as well. He has helped me so much to become a better instructor. Because I am a professional martial art teacher, I know how to find quality instructors. He is very caring and enthusiastic about what he does and always trying to improve everyone's life. Any students who are training under Master Choi should feel lucky and privileged. Once my martial arts school becomes stable, I am planing to study under Master Choi! I can not wait!

We decided to put our 6 yr old son into Martial Arts because we wanted him to learn to focus and to learn about discipline. We thought that these things would help him in school and in all aspects of life. We were right, he has been improving greatly at school, thanks to Master Choi and I Love Martial Arts. We went to different Martial Art Schools and checked them out but after talking with Master Choi, there was no question that he was the best fit for us. He teaches the kids to be respectful and obedient while having FUN. Our 4yr old daughter saw her brother have such a good time and work hard to earn his stripes that she is now attending classes with Master Choi as well. We could have taken our kids to a Martial Arts School that is 5mins from our home but we rather drive 20mins to go to a place that offers our kids the care and attention that they deserve. My daughter has been learning taekwondo from Master Choi and his very competent instructors. I am so satisfied with how they all handle the kids. I believe that the respect that the children get from them all helps them to rise to the best within themselves. It's a true joy to watch and be a part of as a supporting parent!

When we were looking for a martial arts school for our grandchildren we chose Master Choi's I Love Martial Arts" because of his priority of character development first. He is very well qualified in the physical aspects of Tae Kwon Do and Hapkido. All of the children are constantly happy as they are learning in a positive atmosphere. Our son begged us to enroll him when he saw the personal benefits listed on the brochure. His first day he came home absolutely pumped and has stayed there! As a parent, it's a thrill to watch your son excitedly invest himself in a healthy, challenging and personal character developing sport. It hasn't been too long since I started working here as an instructor. Not only did I learn so much being a student, but I was also privileged enough to be able to teach younger students through leadership training. This place is an amazing place to learn Taekwondo, but also discipline and socialization. Master Choi is a fantastic teacher that knows how to teach and welcomes students of any age. I'm very glad to have met him at, “I Love Martial Arts”.

My son, Travis, has made so many positive changes, in such a short time, since joining the martial arts program under the instruction of Master Choi at I Love Martial Arts in Abbotsford. He is acting more responsibly, talking more respectfully and listening more effectively both at home and in school. The constant encouragement from the group in the class and the lesson of respect for all and accountability is surely making a difference for Travis. I am so thankful we took this leap forward and joined I Love Martial Arts. Thank you Master Choi.

My son loves going here. He gets a good workout with great coaching full of encouragement. They work on character as well as physical fitness by encouraging children to be their very best. I also like that there are opportunities once you gain some experience for assisting in the teaching of less experienced students.

My daughter has only been attending since September 2015, but we already see many positive changes in her behavior and self-confidence. This school emphasizes discipline and respect while mastering skills in a fun learning environment. Master Choi and his other instructors are great working with the children.

I highly recommend taking martial arts. Not only will it help you physically, but it can help you emotionally too. I have been taking Taekwondo with Master Choi for about almost 4 months now and I got to say that there is no problem. As a teenager I used to have troubles focusing in school, but after I made the good decision of taking martial arts, I noticed that I can focus better in school now. It is never to late to join!! and remember that age is just a number.
