I had chunks of brick and concrete falling from my chimney for some time. I called 3 companies for quotes and after meeting with Walter, it was very clear this gentleman knew his craft (second generation). Excellent pricing, kind and knowledgeable, and decades of experience won him the job. Arrived as scheduled on time, the team was polite, knowledgeable and worked hard. Kept their work area clean and safe at all times and worked efficiently. They did a fantastic job on my Chimney. I could not be happier. Thanks very much to Walter and his team. I cannot tell you enough how amazing Ron Townshend is. My chimney needed to be repaired. I had a light bulb in my fireplace which he immediately took care of with his electrician. I needed these special size vents for my fireplace he noticed they were missing and I said I bought some at Lowe’s but they didn’t have the right size so my husband was going to drill new wholes in. He said let me have a look and found me the exact same size. He was referred to me by someone else and I’m so glad I reached out. Excellent service and did an excellent job.

I had an issue with my hot water heater/furnace chimney that resulted in my gas being turned off. Walter was very accommodating and arrived promptly to help resolve my issue. He gave me excellent and honest advice and service. Thanks to Walter, my gas was back on the same day. Five stars all the way!

WORST COMPANY!!!!! They took our payment without any issues, we never received any further bills or late payment notices. Then 6 months later we have a employee at our door threatening us saying we never paid. He had no I.D. on him and was very rude and condescending. When we said we would look into this, the owner of the company then started to call us being highly unprofessional with harassing phone calls on a daily basis.I would not recommend using this company!Update: we had the liner replaced on our chimney. The work lasted 3 years before it was plugged up with a birds nest. When we had them back out just to see what they would say it was no surprise that they blamed it on a bad installation and quoted a full replacement of the work THEY DID! Not to mention the damage to the bricks from their ladders on the chimney....years later it still gets me mad.

Walter and his team were incredibly helpful and nice. They have plenty of experience and you can tell your in great hands. 100% using their services again.

Amazing job by Ron and his team! We required a liner to be installed in our chimney in advance of a gas fireplace install. They handled the job quickly and efficiently, and did a great job of cleaning up at the end. They also offered some suggestions for chimney work to improve longevity, which they handled at the same time. Super crew, great to work with!

Ron and his crew did an awesome new chimney. Very professional and informative. They are all very pleasant and hard workers. This old chimney was falling down onto the driveway. It was late fall and they tarped up really well as was late fall and too cold to do. They were honest in explaining how at this time of year was not good for the mortar to cure. They promptly returned in spring as soon as weather was good. Chimney looks so beautiful and extremely happy with the new chimney. I highly recommend Townshend Walter & Sons. I left an inquiry message and Walter called me back promptly the next day. We had a short conversation and he requested I send pictures to determine the scope of the work. Walter gave me an estimate and said they'd be by that same afternoon. They were able to get here earlier than expected and got the job done quickly and to perfection. If I ever need any other chimney work done, I will undoubtedly be calling them again (as well as passing on their info to anyone looking to have chimney maintenance/work done).
