Great apartment, great service and convenient location. Whenever I send an email with a question, the managers are always quick to get back to me. I’m thrilled with my experience and would recommend the Seymour location to anyone looking for a spot to live in Halifax.

Terrible management, lack of communication and of transparency from the lease signing process to the move-in and the daily experience with University Apartments. When Le Mildoré was managed by the company, the building was completed several months late (the front door is still in construction) and both the common spaces and the apartments themselves were far from finished. There were several issues, missing furniture pieces (a closet door for example) that took a really long time to be completed (or were not even completed).

Our apartment at Le Mildore was given to us dirty, missing several physical features listed on the website, and without a working ventilation system (which remained unfixed for the first two weeks of our lease, with construction still being done on the building -- not to say that the construction has stopped). Construction is still not finished and sources have cited a lack of resources as the reason, even though I was told by my leasing agent at the time of my lease signing that UA/Werkliv had already purchased all of the necessary construction materials.

BEWARE!!!! Le Mildore was an awful experience. Construction was delayed by MONTHS so some students had to live in HOTELS for the first month of classes. The apartments that they were able to provide on time were riddled with countless problems such as the AC breaking, water leaks/damage from other apartments and rain, and pieces of furniture breaking after light use.Management promised and ADVERTISED so many features, but failed to deliver on them and took little responsibility. If you want a landlord that treats you with the bare minimum respect any person should be treated with, I recommend looking elsewhere.
