Excellent trail I highly recommend it is well marked and has educational signage about the different stages of the forest really educational.

Contrary to what Amanda states below, there is no lake here. Also her pics are not of anvil trail. No big hills, some rooty spots and a short cut trail for those with limited stamina.

Great hike! There was one section that was completely covered by fallen trees and debris so wasn’t able to make through the entire yellow loop but was able to connect through one of the paths and make my way up to the river. Gorgeous old growth forest with giant trees
