Dory House
We had a wonderful visit at this lovely oceanfront cottage tucked securely away from the main road. The view, cottage and location were absolutely stunning. The cottage is immaculate and fully stocked with everything you could possibly need. Very clean and well cared for.The location is close to a number of beautiful sand beaches which were unbelievably private when we visited.Thank you for the memories. Hope to return some day soon. Highly recommend!

Dory House
Dory House is a little slice of heaven. The ocean views are breathtaking; from every room the ocean beckons you to frolic on its shores. The beaches adjacent to the cottage are wonderful for swimming, adventuring and walking.The cottage is tastefully decorated and comfortable. Lots of space for multiple families to stay together. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you will need for your stay and I the house is very clean. The yard is huge! Plenty of space to entertain.Dory House is just minutes from Lockeport and minutes from the 103 so it is very conveniently located for shopping and exploring all that Queen’s County has to offer.Highly recommend booking Dory House! You won’t regret it!

We had a lovely stay at the Dory House.From the moment we walked in we were relaxed and welcomed by the charming ambiance of the home.It was very clean, well stocked and easy to find everything needed.The rooms were beautiful. Updated but retaining the historical charm of the age of the original home.Mattresses, pillows, and bedding were very comfortable! It was easy to sleep peacefully.A short walk to the beach resulted in successful beach combing and views of exquisite scenery.Personally, I highly recommend traveling into Lockport and visiting Beech Street Kitchen to enjoy a meal as well.Highly recommend the Dory House.

Dory House
Stunning!!! Upon arriving at Dory House, my breath was taken away by the spectacular view and private beach. During our stay, we did not see another person on our daily beach walks.The amazement continued upon entering the house... the large living room and master bedroom windows revealed the same view. The spacious house is beautiful and equipped with all necessities.We enjoyed exploring the area including beaches, trails and local restaurants. Everything was close by. We loved our stay at Dory House.

We had a perfect stay at Dory House! The landscape and scenery are stunning, especially the amazing sunsets. It's a short walk down to the beach and at low tide there was plenty of sand and shallow water for the kids to play in. We even took the sea kayak out for a spin where we saw lots of seals not too far from shore.Inside, we found the kitchen to be well-equipped with everything we needed (including oil, salt, pepper etc) to make and enjoy family meals, plus a BBQ outside. It feels really spacious and modern with lots of light downstairs from the windows facing the ocean. We were there in the summer but would come back any time of year as it would be a cozy spot to stay in other seasons too!It's a short drive to the small town of Lockport which has a great beach and a few places to eat. And an easy drive to/from Halifax with lots of nice towns to stop along the way off the highway.
