AM replaced three of our windows, including making our kitchen window larger and one other window smaller. They were professional, showed up when they said they would, treated our home and property with respect, and were nice. The job they did on our windows was top notch. They were able to save our brick from the kitchen window to fill in the other window that we made smaller, which was fantastic. Their work looks amazing and the windows are beautiful. From the inside where they had to cut down our tile backsplash, you would never even know they did any cutting. The job was perfectly done. I highly recommend this company.

The salesman Josiah was very pleasant individual to deal with.He was upfront on cost, the type of products being supplied and the expected turn around time.Just a note here, we signed the contract 3 weeks before all of North America was shut down due to Covid 19 and we still had an install date just around 2 weeks over the initial time frame.The install team were great.They respected our home and property and they went above and beyond saving and reusing custom trim in our living room around the front picture window.We called about a slight sticking with our back door a couple weeks after completion and they were very quick about sending someone around to fix what turned out to be a very minor issue.Overall, very pleased with our experience with AM Group of Companies and would recommend their services

We recently added insulation, replaced a skylight, and both a kitchen window along with a bathroom window through AM Group of Companies. The company responded promptly to give an estimate (unlike others we contacted). Josiah was very professional and low pressure. Initially we were only concerned with the skylight and the additional work explored was at our initiative. The quoting process was efficient, accurate and on point. Josiah knew the products, the timelines to be expected and relayed numerous payment options to meet our needs. All pieces of the renovation work unfolded as expected. The workers were respectful, polite and diligent in completing their tasks. They cleaned up well upon completion of the job. There were a few emails throughout the process requesting clarification and the updating of some roof vents was missed when the insulation work was completed. However, this oversight was rectified quickly and without issue. All messages were responded to quickly and thoroughly with resolution. We are very pleased with the end product and would recommend AM Group of Companies for renovation work.

From the beginning when the sales representative arrived to provide the options of window choices to when the window installation was completed, the expertise, professionalism and promptness to inquiries was excellent. I was able to contact the sales representative with any inquiries I had prior to, during, and even after installation. The gentlemen that arrived to install the windows were very courteous and professional, making the installation as pleasant as possible.I will highly recommend this company and would definitely contact them for any future work that I require.

We had what we thought was a great sales rep. Signed a contract for a $26k (8 new windows and door + some porch siding) install and was connected to a customer support team of about 3-4 people via an app so they can ensure easy and direct messaging. Expected lead time was gonna be about 6-8 weeks which was the shortest lead time out of all the quotes we had and being built in Canada was a bonus.It went downhill from there. The person who has to come take the final measurements showed up an hour later and I had to reach out to the support team to find out what was going on as no one has tried to contact me to give me an update. We confirmed the sizing and when the fabrication was going to begin.We asked for an itemized listing of the cost of the materials with the extra heat protection and whatnot, and they couldn’t give us an official doc, just typed out the info in a dm on the support app.One month later, (less than 3 weeks away from the anticipated install) I get an email from the sales rep who did the pitch for us asking us to contact him. I sent an email to him and didn’t hear back. I tried calling and it went straight to voicemail. I contacted the support team through the app they have and told them what’s up and they said they’d get back to me.Turns out they had let go of the sales rep who sold us the windows and the windows we were quoted, they didn’t make for our size and we needed to get smaller windows which would cost more and since they didn’t have a go ahead with me, nothing went into production.Their service team in no way tried to reach out to me to tell me about this even though the measurements guy came a month earlier and confirmed the project and lead time. I had to reach out to them for any information and they didn’t really seem to care about keeping the customer informed even though that’s supposedly why they have a customer support app for “easy and direct support”.We’d have to wait another 8weeks for the windows and door and also pay more than the initial amount.We were not happy with the service we received up until that point and we did not go through with the sale after that.

We had Kory Timmermans come out to our home and he arranged insulation for the attic as well as a new front window.No pressure, very honest, friendly, outgoing young man.The insulation was done on time, 2 very hard working men.Our window ran into some timing issues, but Kory helped solve the problem along with Jeff, his manager.The window was installed on an appropriate time and day and 2 men came out to do the install. The window is awesome.So quiet now, can't hear the traffic.AM group is a great company to deal with.

First, let me say that the installers deserve a five star rating, but the presales, sales, and customer service team really dropped the ball in our case. The sales person made it sound like once we signed the contract, our new windows would be made and installed in a matter of weeks. Instead, six to eight weeks later, I had to reach out to them to find out what was going on. At NO point after we signed the contract did they contact us to let us know that supply chain problems had delayed our windows and instead of being done in the 6-8 weeks we had been told, it would instead be months.I'm sure that since this was a small (to them) sale, it didn't warrant their full attention, but to us it was a significant purchase and the lack of concern and communication on their part has insured that when it comes time to replace the rest of our windows and doors next summer, AM Group has an uphill battle to win our business again and only has a chance because of the quality of the installation service and the windows themselves.

I'll let you know when the work is done. Quote person and measuring person and also contact were friendly and helpful. 4stars because haven't seen the work yet. UPDATEWork has been completed. They did a great job, all was completed quick and workmanship was great. The guys were pleasant to talk to and accomplished what I asked for. Mike was helpful with requests. I would recommend these guys for your siding and aluminum needs.

We had several quotes from other companies that were quite frankly insanely expensive. I read about AM Windows And Doors online and looked at the reviews. Gave them a call and in a week or so met with Talbot. There was an immediate difference in what Talbot presented at first meeting. Most importantly, no computer, just a measuring tape and a booklet and dressed in work style clothing. We talked about what we wanted in windows, different options for certain areas and the extent of our window project. He took measurements, wrote some notes down and then left to go back to the office and prepare a quote. Very different from what we had with other sales personnel. No hard sell!Talbot contacted us a few days later and set up an appointment to go over specifics and prices. Finally the pricing matched our expectations and it was a go. He had some samples to give us a look at what their windows offered and it was a significant difference from the other manufacturers we were introduced to. It was an easy decision.Matt And Greg, who installed our windows, came by to do final measurements and talk specifics about the job. They answered all of our questions.There were no large problems that could be seen and Matt and Greg were confident the job would be without issue.The day of installation arrived and no one showed up in the morning. I got a hold of the head office and there was an issue with a job they had been on the previous day. I understand issues with doing tear out and installations, especially on older homes and was fine with that. However, I was off work at the time and it really didn't matter to me. Had I taken time off work to be there this would've been a big problem. Matt and Greg would be there tomorrow.The next day Matt and Greg showed up on time and got right to work. They did an amazing job, especially with the window casings. Being an older home it was a challenge and they performed with expert precision. I was very impressed and happy. Our basement windows were a little more work but the results were amazing. Like night and day. The amount of finishing they did to the outside was incredible and was unexpected. Job well done. There was one fly in the ointment unfortunately. On the second day they were installing the front windows. I had asked for a single grill divider across the middle of the three panes of glass on the casement windows. My wife had noticed something was off with the windows in the trailer. I looked at them and sure enough they were wrong. I ran in to alert Matt that the windows were not the design we wanted. Matt read his notes and sure enough it said grill through center. Luckily I also had the schematic drawings that Talbot had produced for the window quote. I showed it to Matt and he took a picture of it and sent it to the person on the phone. The solution was to install the windows as is and come back at a later date to replace the window panels with the proper design. I was fine with that solution.A few weeks later Mike showed up with our panels and he managed to install all of them by mid afternoon. They looked great, much better than what had been there and what I wanted to begin with. There were no issues replacing them and they've been working just great. Matt never tried to talk us out of what we wanted or gave us any issues with the mistake. He said” If that's what you wanted then we will fix it.” There was never a question of “If” just “How” they would do it.We have more windows to replace and they will be the company I call! It's not just how they handle the things that go right but how they dealt with the problems that defines a great company. AM Windows and Doors is an exceptionally great company with amazing installers and excellent window engineering and design. Why look any further. I definitely recommend them to anyone interested in an amazing window experience.
