Country Squire Motel

Hard to give this type of place 5 stars, it's an economy Motel. Near the 417 it's ideal for weary travellers. The rooms are clean and well kept. The bathrooms have been recently renovated. Safe and very quiet (you'll seldomly hear any noise). There is a Timmies you can walk to for morning coffee. The staff is friendly and polite. If you want to save a few dollars it's a great place. I recommend it and it's my go-to place just west of Ottawa.

Enjoyed our stay here. Older place but our room was well maintained and clean. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. The room quiet and the motel is located close to a few restaurants etc. Our room had a queen and then a twin sort of tucked into a nook around the corner, cool set up for 1 or 2 parents traveling with a kid.

I called and made a reservation on Monday and was told I had a room. I showed up on Friday and was told that there was no reservation and they were fully booked, so I left and went somewhere else. Two hours later I got a voicemail saying that I hadn't checked in and they'd given my room to someone else. When I called to find out what happened, the owner told me it was impossible that I'd spoken to him, and to never stay here"

I never got to the point of staying here. I called ahead to get details on the room access. The person who answered did NOT identify themselves as the Country Squire Motel, and could NOT tell me if the room had exterior access from the parking lot. For all I know I was talking to a guest there. I asked how they did not know if there was outside access. I then commented if he??? couldn't tell me about the access, I might have to go elsewhere.....and was promptly told 'go ahead'...........I hung up, called back and think I got the same individual.......no identification of the motel......

Simple, clean, easy motel located very near the bike route. This little motel is family run and well-maintained. Highly recommended for people touring on their bicycles. There’s a big supermarket within two blocks. The owners let us use their hose to wash our bikes down. Great stay-will stop by on our return trip.

This is an excellent motel just off the highway at Arnprior. Our room was very clean and bright. There was a TV, WiFi, fridge and microwave in our room. The shower had nice pressure and towels were nice and fluffy. The owners are very nice and respectful. Will recommend to others!

Decent room with free wifi, fridge, coffee maker and cold fridge. A bit on the smaller side and there is a lingering urine odor that could not be disguised with scented products. The carpet is old and would look and feel cleaner if removed. The frontage of the property is beautiful with barbecues for customer's use. What caught my attention was the pleasant interaction with the friendly owners who was accommodating.

Nice small and clean room. Close to several restaurants, fuel and highway.

LOCATION LOCATION!! PRICE PRICE!! Extremely affordable rooms especially compared to others in the area. Very comfortable rooms and very clean. Staff is friendly. We have been to armprior 2 times and have stayed there both times. Highly recommend
