Chutes Provincial Park
Chutes is a fantastic get away park that is perfect for those looking for a quiet but convenient camping experience. Despite being only a 3-5 minute drive from town, the park itself is clean, quiet and majestic with a walking trail that features gorgeous views of the falls, once youre in the park youd have no idea youre not miles away from civilization.Lots of large, well maintained site locations, a dedicated area for dogs, a nice outdoor covered seating area for bigger events and a decent beach setup round out its offerings. One of its best features being so close to town is if you happen to forget to pack something, it's a short trip to town to grab some essentials (though the shopping in Massey is limited, you can get some last minute things). If swimming near the falls isn't your thing, there is also a local beach a few minutes from town as well.If you're heading to the park I very much recommend walking the trail and taking in the sights of the falls (it is called Chutes for a reason after all) just be aware there is some uphill hiking but its not overly challenging if you stick to the initial loop and offers an extended loop for the more ambitious hikers.

Amazing! If you have dogs go! They'll love it, the dog beach area is nicer than the human side ahah

The trails are well worth your walk. The chutes are water coming fast and incredible to sit and watch and listen. Campgrounds are good an restrooms clean. Enjoyed our stay

Chutes Provincial Park
The park is really small but nicely forested and has an epic swimming hole. There's only one modern facilities building but it's very clean and right in the middle so it's close for everyone. It's pretty quiet even outside radio free zones so you can hear the river almost everywhere. There's not much to do in the nearby town, but lots of hiking trails within the park and close by.

Great little park, falls were beautiful, and you could swim at the bottom of them.

Chutes Provincial Park
We have been to many great Ontario Provincial Parks, and this is one of them. The campsites are spacious. There's walking trails, waterfall, lake, beach, and pet friendliness to immerse in nature. Due to the current wildfires situation, no open wood burning camp fires are allowed as of summer 2023.

We used this park as a 1-nighter on our way back from New York to Minnesota. It was 1/2 way for us. The facilities was great. Lots of open sites on a Thursday. The bathrooms were clean and hot showers were awesome (as were all Provincial parks we stayed at). It’s just 1 mile out of town so it was convenient for gas and food. The best part was the beautiful waterfall and beach just minutes of walking away. I would definitely stay again.

Just off the trans canada highway. Is the halfway point on the trans canada highway. It has Washrooms, parking, picnic tables, and of course the falls you can climb.

Camping sites are large and are separated by trees. Big pavilion by the bottom of the falls. Lots of washrooms. There is a fenced off dog area & a dog beach. You can swim at the bottom of the falls. Very gradual looks great for kids. We were there for hiking , however was so hot we’d wished we knew about the swimming :)

Beautiful quiet park!! Sites are spaced reasonably apart. (Semi private not completely private) Park is very clean with beautiful walking trails. Washrooms are kept up and quite clean. We only had the opportunity to spend one night on our travels to BC. Would recommend and will go back.
