In my experience I’ve come to realize that while the brand of hearing aids and company you deal with are important, by far the most important factor to a successful outcome boils down to how good your audiologist is.My experience with Dr. Susan has been overwhelmingly positive. Not only is she a highly qualified and educated professional but she is understanding, compassionate, listens to your issues and concerns, and is willing to take whatever time is necessary to provide you with the best possible outcome.I was somewhat hesitant to go for the top of the line hearing aids but I took advantage of the free trial and I’m glad I did. As an ex-audiophile I have to say the sound quality and audio processing of the hearing aids is really quite good. In one session with Dr. Susan I’m hearing better now than I have in the last 20 years. I’m hearing sounds that I thought I’d never hear again - sounds like birds chirping, bells ringing, and food sizzling in a frypan. Not only can I now hear the sounds but they sound naturally clear and crisp. I’m a very satisfied customer and based on my experience I highly recommend both Dr. Susan and NexGen.

I like using this location as the staff are caring and professional. Susan is very thorough and made me feel comfortable throughout my appointment. At the fitting appointment I noticed the reviews on the wall in the reception and one in particular mentioned Bluetooth technology. I enquired about this, as had been having a challenge of how to wear a hearing aid when I also wanted to use in ear headphones. Susan guided me through the setup with my iPhone and hey presto, I have the most awesome setup. I stream my radio stations through my iPhone into my hearing aid, then when I get into my truck it automatically switches to the stereo system in the vehicle. Then when I get out, one click and I'm back to the sound on my hearing aid. I am impressed with the sound quality and the seamless transitions from audio to phone call and back. This latest Opticon unit has really impressed me and I just hope I can save fast enough to get the other ear and have fun stereo sound. I highly recommend Nexgen in New Westmnster.

The people who work here are extremely kind, thoughtful and competent. Mina, the audiologist, did an excellent job and I am very thankful!

Dr. Marynewich and Kay are great!!!I’m in my late 30’s and this was my first time getting fitted for hearing aids. Dr. Marynewich was very patient with me and took time to listen to all of my questions and concerns. Any follow up appointments I needed for adjusting my hearing aids were scheduled promptly.The office is nice and clean. They have great COVID-19 protocols in place and I felt safe during all of my visits.My hearing has greatly improved as a result of me getting my hearing aids. My family and coworkers have noticed I speak more quietly now and I can hear them better. I would highly recommend this place to any of my close friends or family members.Thank you Dr. Marynewich and Kay.

The staff here are amazing. I needed a spare part for my father’s hearing aid in a pinch (which were bought in Ontario) and they were able to part with their stock even though they had low inventory. And their prices are VERY fair! I now know where I’m taking my father when it’s time to replace his current set. Thanks, NextGen!
