Student Works Painting
I've had work done by John and his crew before so I felt pretty comfortable asking them to paint the exterior of my home. They were able to provide a reasonable job quote that was professionally presented and executed. The painters Alex and Caleb were awesome as they were efficient, provided quality workmanship, and had an incredible work ethic. The results were better than I expected and I am so pleased. My house looks beautiful. Thank you all so much.

So impressed! Customer service was top notch from beginning to end. They painted the entire exterior in a day and I honestly cannot see how they went around everything so evenly and with detail. I am a person that pays very close to detail and this work was flawless. John had his crew revamp our house to where it was the ugliest on the street to now I have major pride walking up to our home. I will recommend them to anyone that needs quality work done. Very fair price as well. Thank you!

We had a new cedar/pressure treated combo fence built a couple of years ago and it needed to be stained. At first thought I would do it myself and save a few bucks". I had a previous dealing with John regarding our exterior windows and appreciated this young mans professionalism and quick response. Although we did not use his services for our windows (decided to replace rather than refurbish) John happened to be in the neighborhood and dropped by to give us a quote on our fence. John knows and understands the nuances of painting/staining. He was very helpful and knowledgeable regarding the stain we wanted and what we should look for right down to the brand and type of stain. His workers came on time

We had the whole exterior of our home painted by John and his team (Jocelyn, Alex and Caleb) and they were great! From the quote to the finished product everything went smooth and as per plan. During the job John and the team were able to adapt to some changes and do some extra work as per our needs with very short notice. Great value for money, and wonderful hardworking, respectful and attentive team! I would not hesitate to recommend SWP, especially John and his team to anyone! Student Works Painting
We hired John and his crew to paint our main living area with the connected (very) challenging stairwell last year. They did such a good job, we hired them to come back this summer to paint the interior ground level. Again, the work was excellent. The job was done on time and on budget. We've asked them to come back next summer to complete the upstairs. Not only has the work they've done been good but they are very nice people to work with. We'll keep having them come back until we run out of things to paint.

John had his crew paint the trim on our house and the backyard pergola in May 2019. They all were punctual, efficient and respectful of our property. Had the castlegar student painters come out to paint our house. First thing they talked about was competition on who could paint the most houses this summer. We promptly asked that they do the job properly and not to just slap the paint on. This is exactly what they did. A little scraping no sanding. When we mentioned that the peeling paint needed to be sanded after is scraped off they had no idea this needed to be done. We have had them back 4 times to rectify now they will not come back. No filling of any cracks a section of the house not painted. Spots missed until we pointed it out. I would never recommend this company. House has not been painted for a month and paint bubbles starting to show already. A very expensive mistake.

We saw a company sign on a neighbourhood yard and I decided to call John as we needed the outside of our house repainted. He came to our house and was very pleasant; he seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. After a long chat and assurances that the work would be well-done, John gave us a couple of references. We checked the references and committed to the work.John guaranteed the work to our satisfaction".The painters were there on time and took the time estimated to complete the work.There were a few spots that were missed but when I showed them to John
