Scheduled to have this company come out and quote us to expand our existing deck and install a screened in porch underneath the deck. Scheduled a day/time for them to come out and 15 minutes beforehand got a text from the sales guy saying they weren't interested in doing" the job along with some very unclear explanations regarding rain systems and maintenance free decks. Being they hadn't actually been out to look at the deck and have no idea how it is built or set up

I just had a couple of simple orders off of their web site, with one return/exchange. Their customer service proved to be excellent.

I had looked at 4 companies for our deck and Ugly Deck was in line with 3 of the other bids. I choose to use them based on the experience with Scott in sales and the time he spent with my wife and I at our house and in the showroom.That experience cascaded through the entire scheduling process and onto construction. The crew showed up early every day to start right on time at 7am. The crew was polite, kept a very clean jobsite and did great work.We could not be more pleased with our new outdoor living space. I would 100% recommend UglyDeck to anyone.

I had a really great experience with Ugly Deck. They explain everything really well and are very responsive. It was a challenging experience to build it myself but they were there to answer questions quickly even on weekends. We received so many compliments on our deck and it turned out really great! We had a beautiful deck and stairs installed after our friends had one done by Ugly Deck and we love how beautiful it turned out. The company was prompt, thorough and the end product was a masterpiece (see photos). We had two wonderful master carpenters on site and they were respectful and total perfectionists. The stairs now blend in perfect with the patio. Finally we can enjoy our deck and patio while entertaining or just soaking up some sun. Our house looks totally upgraded and complete from the outside!!! On a side note, one of the co-owners, Josh Paden even stopped by to say hello and answer any questions we had. We appreciated this personal touch and highly recommend Ugly Deck.

Scheduled a day/time that worked with our schedule, they showed up prompt, the team was very professional and contributed knowledgeable ideas and plans. They had an array of options for us to choose from and explained the benefits of each. The actual products used were much higher quality than we were able to find anywhere else. The porch turned out perfect. I would choose UglyDeck 100% every time for future decking, railing and porch projects. They fit our budget and was completed timely and professionally. We purchased deck boards a few years back and experience wasn't great but the product has held up. They were slow to deliver and frankly didn't supply what their website promises.Fast forward a few years and I'm looking at building a second deck. After a quote that was on the higher price of other's I've received, I inquired about their pricing on footer/ledger install. I was told they do not do that. Their website specifically states, Ledger and Footing Installation. Jump-start your project faster and with the first major hurdle completed by a pro." Nobody at Ugly Deck seems to consistently know what they are talking about or offering as a business. It has been and continues to be average at best
