Fantastic weekend with the spa, golf simulator and trails. Food was just OK. Not quite as good as we were expecting.

A very nice course. The scenery is excellent and the greens are fast. Customer service was top notch.

We have been there twice for stay and play. Love the resort. The food in the Sweetwater Restaurant is excellent. All the staff are very courteous, helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend Cobble Beach to anyone looking to get a way. If there was an option to pay a fee to have the GPS on the cart not show advertising every time you wanted your yardage, I would gladly pay it. Other than having to tap the GPS screen on every hole, everything else was perfect.

Jennelle Willis is Cobble Beach’s Marketing Director and she spoke at an Owen Sound Referral Group meeting a couple weeks ago. It is very apparent how knowledgeable in marketing she is and how passionate she is about Cobble’s success. She is very smart and follows current advertising trends to show how attractive Cobble is to locals and visitors.I’ve visited Cobble numerous times and it is such a beautiful spot. I highly recommend this resort if you’re looking for a serene place to take a vacation or have dinner.

Can’t say enough about the whole experience. Service was top notch, layout was fair and in great shape. The views are spectacular!! What a great way to spend a day.

The views and golf course was awesome, being in the hospitality business myself, the waiting staff definitely need some training and maybe should be shadowing any senior staff, small things like food brought to the table and having to ask and wait for cutlery? Having to ask for water? No offence but little things make a big difference, happened both days for dinner two nights in row. Overall was good.

I'm not one to write public reviews for service or experiences but felt inclined after my second visit to Cobble Beach this past weekend. A few years ago my wife and I spent our 10th wedding anniversary golfing at Cobble Beach. By the 14th hole my wife was so embarrassed and upset she decided to pick up the ball for the day. The staff, specifically the Marshalls made her feel so unwelcome, and like she had done something wrong. Probably approached us over 5 times to tell us (very rudely) to pick up our rate of play. I totally understand the need to have a good pace to the game. My wife is not a beginner, she probably shot slightly over 100 that day and finished the round in under 5 hours. If you need to have a 10 handicap or below to play this course then that should be stated en enforced when booking tee times.Now this past weekend I returned to Cobble beach in a large group of 12 for a boys golfing weekend. We played back to back 18's and had a great time. Except for once again, overzealous Marshalls were incredibly rude to all 3 groups, telling inviduals over and over again that they were moving too slowly and to increase their speed. We were even told on a number of occasions to speed things up when we were waiting for the group infront of us to clear. We finished our walking round in about 4hours and 20 minutes. Which seems reasonable given the long distances between some of the holes.Again, I fully understand that there is a pace that needs to be maintained for the benefit of all. But for 260$ per round (times two, times 12 guys). I would expect a level of service that found a way to both encourage pace while making guests feel welcome.Unfortunately this will be the last time I frequent the course. Despite its natural beauty, and impeccable greens keeping the the service and the negative tone are just not worth the money.

Facilities are nice, but not the 5 star experience they want it to be. Golf course is decent, but it’s been getting worse the past two years. Sand bunkers need a lot of work and the greens have been incredibly slow and in rough shape this year which is unfortunate as they used to have fantastic greens. Overall a decent place but incredibly overpriced. $200 for a round of 18 on a mediocre course.

Incredible course and resort with some spectacular views of Georgian Bay. The crew are very friendly, checking in was a breeze and the marshals were all great. It is a fairly difficult course for a novice, so conservative play is a must. Just a heads up: The greens are extremely fast. You will need to play the course more than once to get it""

One of Ontario's most beautiful settings for both golfing and when you stay for hiking. Nice easy trails but with amazing views of Georgain Bay
