Sterling Karamar Property Management

I moved into a renovated sterling karamar unit at 66 spadina Rd in July of 2022. Dont do it.Since moving into the unit, there have been non-stop repairs to the unit as the building management company didn't even make sure the renovations were done appropriately prior to me signing a lease.In August, the apartment flooded because the construction workers hired by sterling karamar didn't complete their job appropriately ahead of heavy rain.In the winter of 2022, I sent multiple service requests to the building about having no heat in my apartment and was told that they couldn't turn up the heat because the units up above would complain.Same winter, same heat issue, turns out they didn't seal any of my windows, I had to buy a thermometer to send pictures to show them that my apartment was at 9 degrees celsius during the day.The flooded messed up my floors, they fixed them once but the guys who they had come in sprayed sawdust all around my apartment.Now, today, they've just entered my apartment with a notice that they may need to fix a leak, smashed two holes in my wall and left with no ETA of when they will fix my unit.On top of all these and more issues I've had to deal with this year, they thought their delepadated apartments and I'll performed restorations have been worthy of an above board rental increase.This management company is trash, if you see this sterling karamar star outside of a building, just run.

Windsor, OntarioManagement since day 1 has been horrible. I’ve been here several years now and it’s nothing but issues. All work orders I’ve made never get completed and if they’re completed…it’s by the 3 stooges. Haven’t had heat since the heat regulators were installed. My kitchen cabinets look like trash after years and years of just being repainted and not replaced. Mold all around the tub because it wasn’t sealed properly. My windows in the living room are literally ready to fall off they’re being held in by a few screws. I have 3 different kinds of trim in my bathroom clearly they ran out and decided it would be cheaper to use different trim then go buy the same piece. No security at all vehicles are being broken into and damaged. Management takes no responsibility at all for anything. The doors on my building including the frames all need to be replaced. Strangers walk in and out of our building with ease. I haven’t been able to do laundry for a week now because someone broke into the building and cut the power cables for the dryers. It’s one headache after the next. IS ANYTHING GOING TO BE DONE, I ASSUME NOT

We had a very short time to plan and prepare for our move within the same building, but Trish and the management work extremely hard preparing the new unit, so we could move in on time. I want to personally thank Trish for going over and beyond what we expected. Thanks again, Trish!

Living at 137 church street in st. Catharines, Ontario. We have constant water issues, by that I mean there's is no hot water 75% or pressure required for a human being to properly clean themselves. The buildings are infested with cockroaches and the management of this property are not only negligent but also completely uninterested in fixing any of these issues. It has been MONTHS. Crooks! As a military member who comes home every couple months I have to say this is absolutely disgusting and unacceptable, we have better conditions in the field!

Do not rent from this company. Since I moved in to my building my car was broken into and destroyed (the cameras they use weren't clear enough to catch anything), there has been non stop renovations, the first week I moved in I didn't have a usable toilet in my unit, the person I lived above was reckless and noisy (and I wasn't warned) and today I recieved a notice for a rent increase. The rent here is already astronomical. I'm dying in the heat because they charge for AC. Greedy greasy landlords. My property manager is great, only reason I gave a star.

My elderly mother is living in a building that is infested as the company doesn't want to deal with it.Anyone wanting to move don't. It's been nothing but a fight for them to fix it and for the property management to stop mistreating my mom who doesn't know how to deal with the online process they require you to use. Also they add charges to you after moving in. They are trying to intimate my mom into paying these extra charges they added that weren't part of her lease.

Sterling Karamar sold our building without notifying tenants. We’re currently without lights in the building main areas, and their response to us was they aren’t the landlords and don’t have keys to help.In my unit, they poorly patched a ceiling leak and left this unresolved before the building sale closed.My neighbours needed to track down who managed the building so that we had a contact in case of emergency. Very irresponsible and unprofessional management company, I would not recommend.

Why would anyone pick this management to manage their building? All the 1 star reviews tell me a lot and I've heard complaints from other residents too. I'm for sure staying away from the buildings that are managed by sterling karamar! Thanks google!

Horrible company! They just left my building after being negligent in repairing a pipe, causing multiple occurances of sewage back up in my kitchen sink, going all over my property. They neglected to properly clean it or ensure my child and I were safe from bacteria. I have reported them to every place I can. Spare me a response, also. I've emailed the residential email address, and I've cc'd your CEO and many VPs on this incident. Pathetic and dangerous company that should be shut down.

Stay the hell away from this company’s buildings. They let a leaky laundry machine sit unfixed for 3+ months in our building’s laundry room. The place stunk of mildew for the longest time.More than that though, they love applying for ABOVE GUIDELINE RENT INCREASES. It’s really bad.
