Highland Cleaners - Dry Cleaner Edgemont Village - North Vancouver

I never leave reviews but one is warranted here. I brought my clothes in and when I arrived a woman was upset that the cleaners had ruined her fur jacket. I should have taken that as a warning. When I picked up my clothes a week later, they had left very large stains three of my blouses. To miss those stains entirely is difficult to fathom - they had clearly done only a cursory pass on the items.When I asked for a refund for those garments, they were very argumentative and combative and did not provide a refund of the three items they failed to clean. I would recommend trusting someone else with your clothing. Disappointing experience in both quality of clean and customer service.

I recently started using Highland Cleaners after making the switch from a dry cleaner that I had been going to for over 30 years did not seem to be able to provide adequate/quality service.From my first interaction with the owner at Highland Cleaners, I found the easiness and willingness to accommodate very refreshing. Their system of tracking and processing is quite efficient, and everyone at Highland is pleasant and polite. They obviously can handle all sorts of garments and the work is done professionally, but I sincerely appreciate the perfect way they can do my dress shirts. From the volume of business they are doing, it is clear that many in the Edgemont Village area feel the same way.After 6 months, I highly recommend them thus far. It makes me happy to know that I have found my Cleaner of the next 30 years.

Cream Jacket I brought in for cleaning was given back to me in plastic bag STILL with the stain I brought it in for. I asked why stain was done and could they please try to remove it? It was NOT a cheery, “Of course.” She said, “Oh, It didn’t come out. Pay your bill.” I insisted she try again. Reluctantly, she took it to a much NICER man in the back (a few yards away) with some sort of magic steamer wand. He worked on it for a few minutes and got most of it out on the spot. He gave it to her and she gave it to me. There was STILL some noticeable stain remaining. I asked her to take it back to finish the stain removal. She again said, “NO, We Tried. It doesn’t matter, pay your bill.”Well, see it DOES matter. If he got 80% of it out in three minutes, he could likely get the rest of it out. Extremely reluctantly, she took it back to him. I then paid my bill while he finished working on it.He finally got 99.9% of it out and he then personally brought it to me (as receptionist spoke “warmly” with other customers) and I thanked him. I am a nice person. There is no need for her rudeness and lack of customer empathy. There was No sign on the garment saying, “We tried.” I understand people can have a bad day, but please consider what happens when a customer walks with their feet out your door and you don’t even have the courtesy to say thank you or goodbye. Most unfortunate reception as they man was lovely.

The greatest Dry Cleaner on the North Shore.I have been going to this place for over 10 years. The service has always been outstanding before and after the ownership change. Javeed and his team know their customers very well and they have been consistently on-time even with rush orders.

I've been a fan of Highland Cleaners since I moved to the North Shore in 2001. The old owners were fantastic, and the new owners have taken it up a notch. They offer even more services and they do a great job! The prices are still very reasonable. Why go anywhere else! This is definitely a jewel in my backyard!!! I'm a lifer!

My entire family has been a fan of Highland Cleaners for over 30 years. First with the original owners, and now with Jay and his staff. The person who had the unpleasant experience? I'm sure there is a lot more to that story, as we have never, not once, experienced anything other than superb service. Friendly, caring, and fabulous results on shirts, drapes, duvets, and anything else we bring in. Thank goodness for a community business that really cares !!

Posted this a year ago and still loving these people. Best cleaners ever. ... Great cleaners. Love the old owners and can't believe it but the new owners have even taken it a notch higher with unbelievable over-the-top service. Great people.

Recently switched to them from going to another place for many years and decided to change as they have been slipping. So far Highland has provided me excellent service and my shirts have always been ready as promised so far. That was the main reason I decided to switch as too many occasions my shirts weren't ready in time. The pricing here is a little bit more than I used to pay but the reliability is worth it. Keep up the good work!

Great service and very nice people who are helpful.I had a really great experience with them. I have used this business for both alterations and dry cleaning and was happy on both! Highly recommend!

Highly recommended. Very good prices, friendly and polite service, fast and they always remember you! I drive out of my way to use Highland Cleaners. Current owners (Javed and Darcey) bought the establishment a few years ago and happy to say service, prices and atmosphere have remained consistent and excellent throughout, if not even better!.
