Saint Patrick's Home

I worked in this nursing home as a full time co-op student from 2018 to 2019, in which I gave my best efforts as a person who loves their work. I was always organized and punctual, but once I finished my contract there, I needed the equivalent of a “Proof of Employment Letter” but for co-op students, for the purpose of working in the same field in different city, but the new manager (of volunteer services) was not cooperative at all. He told me that they may have lost my papers by mistake, and for this reason, they cannot write the letter. He asked me to contact my placement coordinator, which I did right away, and the coordinator wrote him a letter about my duties that I had done at the time to prove that I did actually work there, but he (the manager at St. Patrick’s Home) insisted that he did not know me personally and that the old manager and supervisor were no longer working employed for St. Patrick’s Home. So if you ever were to work here (especially co-op students and volunteers), make sure to get your papers before your contract is over.

Very clean, great care, well trained enployes, great food. Many activies.mansgement very experiance.friendly feelings all around. Great place for your loved ones.

My Mother has been at St. Pat`s for several years now, and we could not be happier! My Mom is well cared for, and is very happy. The activities are terrific, the special events are well coordinated, the menu is appreciated and the day to day care is exceptional!Thank you to all staff, you show how much you care every day and we appreciate everything you do! Keep up the fabulous work.

When there have to pay for parking it should be free from family and agency staff.

A very good home. Excellent care. Google map directions take you to the back of the building. To get to the parking lot enter off of Riverside Drive.

The PSW's, Rn's, Rpn's and recreation staff are just amazing. These people work and strive to make this home the best home in ottawa. St.Patrick's is not just a facility its a community, home and family those people working in there work hard to make it feel this way. They work and work to live up to the grey sisters and their values. There is a reason why this place has been here longer than canada has been a country. St. Patricks is the best place to work, volunteer and donate to.

Decent home for my son, but no one that works in the main lobby has any idea what they’re doing.

Secluded off from Riverside Road. Nice compound with lots of FREE parking. Building looks relatively new. Excellent protocol for Covid at the foyer. Staff is pleasant. Visitors need to change to the facilty's surgical masks upon entry and brown paper bags are provided for putting away our own mask. Clean inside and the staff seem pleasant interacting with the residents. Hair salon is impressive. Lots of windows everywhere. Surprised to see carpets in corridors of resident rooms, but they look clean, no stains.
