Everything is so delicious and fresh! Love being able to pick up some treats that remind my parents of back home. They have different types of Yerba and at good prices too.Los bizcochos, alfajores, sándwiches, y todo lo de mas son riquísimos.

Fantastic food and customer service. Very authentic taste. We purchased the beef empanadas, bizcochos and ñoquis. My wife and her family are from Uruguay, and they were very impressed. I am happy to share that we will be coming back more in the future!

They made a unicorn cake for my daughter and it was the best cake I've ever tasted and the macaroons on top of the cake were amazing and the cinnamon buns are better than amazing I really recommend coming here if it's for breakfast lunch dinner or special occasion

Food was delicious, owner was very friendly, price is reasonable, place is clean and it has a nice small business atmosphere. Highly recommend. Empanadas, coffee and croissants were all excellent

We travelled from Australia (I am Uruguayan) to visit family in Toronto and we found this great Uruguayan bakery. The service/friendliness was second to none. We had Chivitos" and the flavour was amazing. We also had a "Chaja" cake

Montevideo Bakery & Cafe - Chiviteria
It was a really nice taste of Montevideo. The food was hot and fresh and very tasty and authentic. There weren’t many pastries or bizcochos but they had empanadas that looked good we bought 3 of each and some individual Chajas dessert’s because they looked great. The prices were good like in most places. Overall good value. I will go again when and try the mondongo (trype).

Outstanding experience both human and culinary! Feels like being transported to Uruguay for breakfast or lunch. I had a Chivito Montevideo and a dulce de lèche stuffed pastry, what a delightful treat! A few empanadas to take out made my afternoon a five star snack! A most visit with family and friends.

The best bakery in Jane Street. They got all you need for breakfast, lunch and dinner and even your snacks. They serve coffee/hot coco and smoothies in the summer. They have the best tres leches and mini cheesecakes. The staff are always welcoming and and all smiles. My week is complete when I go this cafe. =)
