Henry is great. A friendly face who came into the comfort of my home and fixed my sewing machine. He showed me what he was doing and how to avoid issues. Definitely would recommend calling him before you throw out or replace that sewing machine. Thank you Henry. - Saby

Henry was not knowledgeable of my machine, and I gave both the make and model at the time of booking. He really took a long time to figure out how to replace the part, and made mistakes along the way that had to be undone. Therefore, I was overcharged by more than $100, and up to $150. I would not recommend Henry to anyone based on my experience.In response to Henry’s reply to my above message: Henry charged $35 additional to travel to Cochrane. I had already taken this into account. That’s not why I felt overcharged. Henry spent a lot of time studying my machine because he didn’t know how to go about replacing the feed-drive gear. My issue is that he ended up charging me for his learning curve. That is unacceptable. As I already stated, Henry took long periods to figure out what to do, and made mistakes that had to be undone. That should have not been charged for. In Henry’s reply, he stated he charged me $280 + $35 extra to travel to Cochrane. I believe that the $280 portion is too high by at least $100 to $150. I was willing to pay for experience, which would have reduced the time required to be spent on my machine. As that was not the situation, Henry should have reduced his rates due to his inexperience with my machine.Note to Henry: If I require service in the future, I will not be contacting you.

Henry was on time and worked quickly. He really knows his stuff. He taught me a few tricks too.

Henry is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He doesn't know much about sewing (by his own admission), but he knows the machines! I had tried to fix it myself - pro tip, don't even try it - and he was able to undo all of my fixing" and get it working again. I'm a very casual sewer and Henry said I won't need to service the machine for a long time

Henry was amazing, prompt and extremely knowledgeable. Besides fixing my Husqvarna Emerald 118, he took the time to explain how things worked and the proper way to use it. Service and a lesson and never left home!

My reverse was not working and my tension was a mess. Henry was awesome, fixed me right up. Gave me tips about never using oil, only WD40. And how to thread it properly so it won't mess with my tension. He came right to my house so no lugging my machine around like I had been for about a month trying to find the right time to bring it in when stores were open! 100% recommend him.

Had a lovely visit with Henry while he restored my old machine to running better than ever. Thoroughly checked everything with it and solved the problem, while giving me lots of very helpful hints on keeping the machine running well. Very knowledgeable, affordable and pleasant man. Added convenience of coming to my home as arranged.

Henry was wonderful very friendly and knew exactly what was wrong with my machine the price for fixing it and cleaning was great I can very highly recommend him
