Mount Movers

These guys were really good (although late after going to the wrong address initially which sucks when you’re paying on the clock). In addition to the usual household items, I had a few really heavy antique pieces made of solid wood. Extremely heavy and awkward to move. They got them in without a scratch (which included a narrow flight of stairs). They were also professional, friendly and overall nice to work with. I would recommend/use them again.

Called mountmovers last minute for a move & they responded right away & came the same day right on time. They worked fast, no broken items, also very transparent with the price & time depending on how much items your moving. Was very satisfied with the price, the movers were considerate and respectful would definitely recommend

I just finished up with mount movers the other day after helping me move on June 1st. Now that Im set up, I can finally TELL EVERYONE IN MONTREAL HOW AMAZING THIS COMPANY IS!!!Seriously. The phrase above and beyond" doesnt begin to cut it. Dan and Robbie showed up a littttle late but gave me plenty of heads up they hit traffic and were super transparent and showed up exactly when they said they would from there. Awesome communication all day long.When they arrived THEY WENT TO WORK. Like RIGHT away just hopped to it. I have a LOT of lego sets

Outstanding is all I can say. From the first contact this mover was courteous, responsive, professional and well priced. They went above and beyond to get my move done on time. Like most people, I have never been able to find a reliable mover. Mount Movers is it!. Very very highly recomnended.

We hired them on March 25th to move a simple 2 bedroom condo with only 1 bed and mattress. The move was from Griffintown to Nun's Island. We were to have 2 guys with 4 wardrobe boxes. Here are the details.- truck arrived 1hr 15min late due to flat tire (they did call - owner said they did us a courtesy by calling).- when truck finally arrived only had 1 guy and no wardrobe boxes- I assisted the 1 guy to help speed up process knowing I was getting charged per hour- 2nd guy arrived 1hr 30min late from original time- minimal things were wrapped and protected even after we asked (table was damaged)- took 2hrs 30 mins to load the truck. When we were ready to head to new location - another flat tire and more delay- once we arrived at new location - another 2hrs to unload. Total move was 5hrs - they did not charge the 1hr travel fee - so they charged us for 5hrs - which seems long for a simple 2 bedroom condo.We had to go back to old condo the next day without wardrobe boxes to move our clothes - 2 hrs wasted.Perhaps the company didn't have a great day with our move. It was not a great experience for us

Incomplete job, no intention of finishing the job in reasonable time (weeks), tardiness, poor communication, price change, threats in attempt to prevent me from leaving a poor review, and poor reviews are taken down.Response to our review is false:A new call was never dispatched. New phone number was provided immediately after the change.Table and couch were in the original order (email confirmation).----------------THE JOBMy partner and I are students and moved into a new apartment. We hired Mount Movers for a rather simple job:1) Move a 4'x3' tabletop from our storage unit to our apartment. The table is rather heavy (max 450 lbs, estimated by density), which is why we did not do it ourselves.2) Move a 7' couch from the same storage unit to our apartment3) Place the tabletop on top of the table leg assembly. This is a very important detail, and therefore I stressed it verbally to the movers on three separate occasions. Nevertheless, this was the part left incomplete.We maintained contact with a young, slightly overly-charismatic, male staff at Mount Movers. His charming demeanor quickly faded the moment he discovered there was an issue with the job.-------------------TARDINESSThe representative at Mount Movers informed us that the movers may be 20-30 minutes late. The movers arrived 1,5h late. Oh well, we had an ice cream and enjoyed the sun to pass the time.---------------INCOMPLETENESSPart 3 of the job was not complete, which was to place the tabletop on top of the table leg assembly. Since the tabletop is heavy (~450 lbs), my partner and I could not do it ourselves. The tabletop was leaning against drywall for weeks, causing superficial damage.I initially sympathised with them for their mistake; who doesn't forget to complete a task every now and then? However, I called Mount Movers to inform them of the mistake was taken aback by the representative's response. He proceeded to accuse me for not reminding the movers (for the 4th time) as to where the tabletop should be placed. He also accused me for not supervising the movers for the entire duration of the move (I had to run to the ATM to cover an unexpected price change, see below).He said, Moving is a complicated and stressful job

First of all, I am not one to write reviews on Google but this company truely deserves a thumbs up. I contracted Mount movers for a move from Montréal to Toronto and I was not disappointed. They arrived on time both at the pickup & destination. They were quick, professional and flexible and they handled my items with care. I would totally recommend them for my friends and family !
