I have so much love for this shop! The prices are incredible and there are some gorgeous specimens. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, which really makes all the difference in my opinion. My boyfriend and I loved learning about her mine and about the specimens she has. We left with such big smiles - thanks for such a great experience! I'll definitely visit this shop again next time I'm in Thunder Bay! :)

Awesome experience! Owner Sandra is very helpful and knowledgeable. Our daughter loved sorting through her boxes of miscellaneous amethyst specimens. Prices are really reasonable.

Purple Haze Amethyst
Driving through east to west, was looking for a place to buy amethyst and the dig your own was not open yet for the season so I decided to check this place out-so glad I did! The couple had the showroom in their house and were extremely knowledgeable about the family business. The selection was awesome and there's something for every price point. I can't say enough how friendly this couple was, I felt very welcome and not rushed or pushed to buy something out of my price range. Definitely recommended!!

What a gem of a store! And the lady working there (owner) was so engaging and friendly. Four of us stopped in on a whim after a day of diving and we looked through the amazing specimens and chatted about geology and whatnot and it was truly a great experience. It's not in a location you'd expect, but once you figure it out you won't be disappointed!

Older lady very friendly and professional. Gift shop in her home.with many pieces from their own family mine. As well as a display of pieces from around the world. Opened a half hour early for us. Good information about mining and something for everyone. Don't miss this stop.

Purple Haze Amethyst
Fantastic experience - the owners of this little home based shop take the time to teach you a bit about their mining process and the various stones. Absolutely no pressure to buy - although I did leave with some great finds at very reasonable prices. They have raw amethyst as well as polished pieces, although only a very small jewelry selection. If you are looking for beautiful amethyst, stay away from the larger places and come here!

Sits on a residential property without explicit signage so don't feel shy about walking into someone's backyard during business hours.Owners were extremely attentive and helpful while we shopped through their extensive collection.They have huge variety at great prices, and every piece sold is locally mined.
